You can put new pads on old rotors but never old pads on new rotors pads ain’t that expensive just do it right the first time and I’m not throwing shade glad to see him doing it instead of getting ripped off by a shop
Did you say the rotors are pre oiled ? Your suppose clean off that oil with brake cleaner because that oil is there to keep the rotors from rusting while in the factory or the store
To anyone watching this. After you're finished installing, be sure to pump the brakes about 3 - 5 times, until you feel the normal resistance the brake pedal usually has. Otherwise the brakes won't work.
I was looking on Rock Auto but there is literally too many to choose from I have a 2007 Chevy suburban LS AFM flex fuel 2wheel drive I want to get AC Delco I heard it's 30mm do you know any part numbers I would but from Amazon as well
I purchased these from Amazon for my 07 Chevy Tahoe, Callahan CDS02040 REAR 345 mm Premium D/S 6 Lug [2] Brake Disc Rotors + [4] Ceramic Brake Pads + Hardware for the rear, and Callahan CDS02005 FRONT 330 mm Premium D/S 6 Lug [2] Brake Disc Rotors + [4] Ceramic Brake Pads + Hardware for the fronts. I added the make of the vehicle to Amazon and I even think it allows you to enter your vin. Then just search and Amazon will let you know if it fits your vehicle. Good luck.

I was thinking the same thing.
MAKE SURE WHOEVER IS WATCHING THIS VIDEO THAT YOU USE BRAKE CLEANER TO GET OFF ALL THAT OIL FROM THE ROTOR

What these videos never show is the level of effort needed to remove stuck and rusted bolts. Take every how-to video and multiply it by 10.
Thanks bro,!
Have a bless one!
what ever happened to using brake cleaner? That rotor is dripping in oil
