A very cool amp, very cool demo. This may be the model I go for. The price is right, it's not too heavy, and it does what I need it to do. The versatility is wonderful, and very practical, because I play everything from jazz to metal.
Great demo and playing. I just got the katana go and I’m enjoying it so far. I used to have the katana 50 and 100 mkii amps but sold them and got a Roland blues cube. The Roland will stay with me forever, it’s that good imo. Still might pick up a gen 3 katana just to mess around and try out the new pushed channel. I wish they had put that amp in the katana go. Maybe they can add it in with an update in the future. Gotta love Boss. Cheers 🤘🎸
@@brianrollins7275 Currently my dad has borrowed it to play his Chet Atkins solidbody acoustic guitar in church. he's loving it, I may not even get it back ;)
Very nice video. Since I didn't see a mic in front of the amp, may I ask how you recorded your playing? Was it USB from amp to PC? Or did you use a mic in the room?
The Katana does sound good at lower volumes, but if you 1) already have an audio interface and decent monitors & 2) are not gigging then its hard to beat NAM for that purpose.
Awesome demo...the tones are full natural - playing stellar....very nice :D
Excellent tones love this review and such lovely 80s chorus cleans wow
Really nice intro, the slow gear is one of my favourites too.
Thanks! Yup it's great having that slow gear built into the amp, right?
Sounds great man! You should do more demos - you more clear in your description of things and the playing is great
Thanks man! They also sent a SDE-3000D so I'm keen to get into that one next.
superb demo ...Thanke schoen Warren..will Def save up for this..✌
Really good review, enjoyed how you explained things so simply. Great playing too!
Thanks for watching, I'm a simple guy so I don't tend to get too complicated as long as it sounds good :)
Those are great tones! Great playing as well!
Thank you :)
New to your channel, great demo and awesome playing, thanks!
Welcome to the channel and thanks!

Yup I'm guessing you'd get some very usable results in those applications.
nice demo and playing. really love that pushed amp.
Cheers, yeah the pushed model is fun to play!

The Blues Cube is great! One of my mates had an earlier one from the 90s and it was a favourite for late night jams at his place.
Thanks for the reply. Curious how your getting along with the Katana Gen 3 amp?

Love the demo Warren :) awesome play as usual ….
Amp is great wish I can generate the tone similar to your fingers :)
Thanks! It's amazing what a bit of dedicated practice can do :)
Good Job!!
Awesome! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the video. I want to complement you on your playing. Very nice!
Thanks!
Hi, good job. are the speakers different from the Mk2 100 1x12 on the Gen3 100 1x12. Thank you, be well

Thanks! I ran the Katana line out into my audio interface.
Hi Warren, how do you think this compares to NAM run through budget monitors ? At bedroom volumes..
The Katana does sound good at lower volumes, but if you 1) already have an audio interface and decent monitors & 2) are not gigging then its hard to beat NAM for that purpose.
Lovely playing mate. Any idea about pricing in $NZD? Cheers!
Thanks! Shouldn't be too far off from the current price of the MkII, I reckon?
your demo is the only one that sounds appealing compared to the other demos in youtube sounding raspy and annoying
Glad you liked the sounds! I usually turn my guitar volume down a bit, maybe that helped?
