I just bought this game and I'm really enjoying it. I never understand people's feelings about spoilers...you can tell me the entire story, explain the visuals, how you interact, etc., etc., but it in no way changes the actual experience. The emotions and memories that the game/movie/book/whatever creates within you is the real experience. The elements that you can discuss, labeled as "spoilers" may help achieve that experience, but they are not the experience. You can tell me about going to another country or climbing a mountain, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to experience it myself. If "spoilers" were real, no one would ever leave their homes or do anything, they could just have others tell them about it. The importance of some feelings/experiences, the ability to see through the b.s. of the world to the truth, and the ability to make your own meaning when you realize that no one is going to hand it to you seem like they're even themes of the game in question. Anyhow, still enjoying the game and already seeing myself playing it again in the future like other games that I've cherished.
Nice but 9S is way stronger then you make out him to be, his atack range is 2 to3 times bigger then 2Bs he can spam Pod lv1 Atacks because they don't have global cooldowns on them unlike 2Bs, he can do this by switching to different Pod, can use one weapon but has 2 move sets per weapon type, his hacking skill can blow up enemy in an AOE that can stun or do DoT fire in 10m range. In many ways he's way stronger in combat then 2B.
No, but they are top of the line, newest models. And someone wrote that in the novel that came out in Japan, it said he hack him self, at one time to upgrade his fighting potential, so he's not factory made model so to speak.
These are just facts about the games story! The only good facts in the videos are the ones about Yoko Taro and development! What's next you're going to have name of characters count as a fact!?
I enjoy playing as 9S and A2. A2's berserk mode is god tier with the right chip sets and 9S because he's an adorable soft boy. The game broke my heart but impressed me in a way I never thought a game could.
cool but, put a massive spoiler alert, good thing I finished the game with the perfect ending before watching this video or you would have ruined completely the surprise of the ending.
#108: "In 2018 2B was announced as a guest character in the fighting game series SoulCalibur, notably the recent resurgence SoulCalibur VI, who was released in December. Her moveset is faithful to Neir: Automata with fast and crazy combos, unlike most of the characters within SoulCalibur VI."
Yes but if you're letting that trait be the only thing that defines him in your eyes, you're missing the point of Emil, and Kaine by extension, as they were intended to be received.
Daniel Díaz Chico think it was said by the developers not directly from taro Its a controversial theme to disturb people There is no hint in the original games tho
His point by including the aforementioned characters was that they're still people, who have lives and motivations and desires. They're not just "The token gay kid" or "The Token hermaphrodite". These traits are to enrich their characters, but not define them. So if the only reason one likes Emil is because he's gay, or because that's the only thing that you remember about him, then you've missed the point of the character.
thus video taught me so much about neir. I think I may get it because I'm really impressed by how hard the studio worked on it. it's probably worth buying just as art if nothing else.
Got me to get back on Nier:A. I lost some interest before beginning 9S' playthrough, but after watching this, I have a rather tumultuous feeling to see his side of the story. Thanks.
in the flying bits you can use the sword attack to bust the dark purple orbs, I'm sure you can destroy them with a weapon during the mele combat on the ground as well.. if not light attacks then heavy definitely do. (I always use a spear in heavy slot and it decimates those bullet hell mobs)
I absolutely love this game. And I’m going for all 26 endings. And with my character being a lvl 76, I’m untouchable. And I also must say, the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful.

"If you attack the bunny robot for long enough" yeah or hack it once. At level 30 I noticed I could hack it and did so, hoping that it would allow me to take it over since it wasn't aware of me. Then a goddamned level 80 monster with one hit kill ranged attacks showed up out of nowhere. It would have been okay if the only way to damage it hadn't been to stay in one place while I hacked it.

( was a story about it in a comic)

If "spoilers" were real, no one would ever leave their homes or do anything, they could just have others tell them about it. The importance of some feelings/experiences, the ability to see through the b.s. of the world to the truth, and the ability to make your own meaning when you realize that no one is going to hand it to you seem like they're even themes of the game in question.
Anyhow, still enjoying the game and already seeing myself playing it again in the future like other games that I've cherished.
The thing is if someone tells you about adeath you wont be as shocked when it happens therefor not have the same experience

" Passive abilities like higher melee damage"
"Passive abilities"
Nice but 9S is way stronger then you make out him to be, his atack range is 2 to3 times bigger then 2Bs he can spam Pod lv1 Atacks because they don't have global cooldowns on them unlike 2Bs, he can do this by switching to different Pod, can use one weapon but has 2 move sets per weapon type, his hacking skill can blow up enemy in an AOE that can stun or do DoT fire in 10m range. In many ways he's way stronger in combat then 2B.
Domtrain This is true..
Which is weird because 9S says 9S's aren't really built for combat!
No, but they are top of the line, newest models. And someone wrote that in the novel that came out in Japan, it said he hack him self, at one time to upgrade his fighting potential, so he's not factory made model so to speak.
Still waiting on 107 Facts About Danganronpa... Just saying... No Rush
JPonyLoco !!!!! because of you its on our radar! thanks for your support
Cool, Sorry for constantly nagging, just super stoked that its even happening :D
Heay i love danganronpa
Holy heck it's happening
JPonyLoco honestly though please ???
hope we get a nier automata 2
CariagaXIII this was a Nier 2. What I hope we get is a Nier 3 or Drakengard 4.
I keep expect Nier to loop around and be responsible for Drakengard somehow, as it would fit the themes of both series.
nier 3 on VR? or first person?....
umm no...
CariagaXIII "Nier Automata 2"
You need to educate yourself. This wasn't the first game of the series
- GreeN - You need to read more carefully. Doesn't matter if this was the first game in the series. Cariaga wants a sequel to THIS game
*dat self-destruct* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
These are just facts about the games story! The only good facts in the videos are the ones about Yoko Taro and development! What's next you're going to have name of characters count as a fact!?
19:07
Yep, thanks to the Red Girl(s).
The heart breaking plotline .
I. Have. ᶠˡᵃˢʰᵇᵃᶜᵏˢ.
I enjoy playing as 9S and A2. A2's berserk mode is god tier with the right chip sets and 9S because he's an adorable soft boy. The game broke my heart but impressed me in a way I never thought a game could.
when you're 30 facts into the video and haven't said anything about the game yet
"For the Glory of Humanity"
*Excuse me, what the fuck*
cool but, put a massive spoiler alert, good thing I finished the game with the perfect ending before watching this video or you would have ruined completely the surprise of the ending.
I love how he shows Angel's Folly when he pointed out they're bummers. Cause that is one of the particularly brutal ones.
Some interesting stuff, but next time, reduce the spoilers men :) or at least, warm the people watching you're about to drop it
Fact 108: 2B hot as Hell
#108: "In 2018 2B was announced as a guest character in the fighting game series SoulCalibur, notably the recent resurgence SoulCalibur VI, who was released in December. Her moveset is faithful to Neir: Automata with fast and crazy combos, unlike most of the characters within SoulCalibur VI."
i will reinstall it again and play it again ^^ its the best game ever in my opinion
Agreed, man.
have you played Skyrim, because I disagree
That "CAR with a scary face" is my son EMIL! He is precious and gay af!
Yes but if you're letting that trait be the only thing that defines him in your eyes, you're missing the point of Emil, and Kaine by extension, as they were intended to be received.
Daniel Díaz Chico if u actually played nier gestalt u would know that emil said he would marry a GIRL if she wouldn't mind his appearance
Daniel Díaz Chico think it was said by the developers not directly from taro
Its a controversial theme to disturb people
There is no hint in the original games tho
His point by including the aforementioned characters was that they're still people, who have lives and motivations and desires. They're not just "The token gay kid" or "The Token hermaphrodite". These traits are to enrich their characters, but not define them.
So if the only reason one likes Emil is because he's gay, or because that's the only thing that you remember about him, then you've missed the point of the character.
For me it felt like a marketing strategy
thus video taught me so much about neir. I think I may get it because I'm really impressed by how hard the studio worked on it. it's probably worth buying just as art if nothing else.
107 facts of gravity rush please.
Yoko Taro is Ishida and Togashi! Yoko finally that dang autocorrect!
You should have said how it connects with the Drakengard series!
2b is my favorite character of nier automata.
"Seeing 4-5 bodies ahead in a room is a good sign that it's a dangerous one"
*Looks outside of Emil's house*
Got me to get back on Nier:A. I lost some interest before beginning 9S' playthrough, but after watching this, I have a rather tumultuous feeling to see his side of the story. Thanks.
a2 = tsundere
what's 2B then? Lol
Kurumi Tokisaki She’s a yandere in some degree because she has to kill 9S if he gets out of hand.
Your breakdown is great! Really enjoy listening to all the little details and game mechanics that you talk about.
I think you missed the fact of the dessert machine's masks came from the original Nier :D
11:01 what are those dashes? never figured out how to do them
Yeah for reals, that looks dope af
For posterity: Full upgraded Engine Blade.
Keiichi Okabe is a goddamn genius XD
DON’T PUT SPOILERS TO THE BEST GAME STORY EVER IN A VIDEO WITH BEGINNERS TIPS!!!!!
"die during the intro"
As if I purposefully had to try 😂
The Only Nier Automata Fact I know is 2B Loves 9S, 9S Loves 2B
in the flying bits you can use the sword attack to bust the dark purple orbs, I'm sure you can destroy them with a weapon during the mele combat on the ground as well.. if not light attacks then heavy definitely do. (I always use a spear in heavy slot and it decimates those bullet hell mobs)
1:10 I took a photo almost exactly like that one last year, I miss Osaka
Best info video of this game i have watched. Thank You.
I absolutely love this game. And I’m going for all 26 endings. And with my character being a lvl 76, I’m untouchable. And I also must say, the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful.
final ending spolier ar 14:32 thank god i paused the video
Nier automata is a quick dive into existentialism and a bit of nihilism.
That Teaser with the Destroyed Dolls is the Actual DLC Ending which rewards you with a nice illuminati symbol behind Z in your save data as additional Ending. the song that plays during the doll destruction is actually ... really heartbreaking so get some tissues :/ Besides the doors that nobody knows what they're for. now you should know xD They're part of the latest DLC
thank you from Russia. you are the first blogger who could explain my feelings and Express my opinion about this game. there is no such excellent review of this game in the Russian-language yoytube.
The game was fantastic, I really do hope that there will be a part 2.
Complete masterpiece that has influenced so many titles after.
SPOILERS!!!!
Like not just "Not going into spoiler territory" FULL SPOILERS!!!!!
You missed the Ironpipe weapon a reference to Nier Gestalt and its weapon lore tells a nostalgic story of protecting Yonah
107 facts about Danganronpa

107 facts about NieR Automata, spends more time talking about drakenguard and niers story in multiple segments. heres a few facts.

OMG 107 FACTS ABOUT THE PERSONA SERIES!? I definitely wanna see that :D
you guys forgot to mention the part about looking under her dress and it being an achievement.
+JPonyLoco early may buddy...early May we got you
jblue88 hood gamer but it's a surface level thing :/ everyone I hear who talks about Nier keep talking about the surface level things, when in the end, that's all they are, surface level things... they mean nothing in the end, even in a game as outwardly weird as Nier Automata
For the glory of MANKIND***
In fact it's 110 Facts in total and not 107, you missed 3 Facts:
108 - The Big Ladder it's a reference to the Big Ladder of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
109 - Background of 9S's Hacking mode it's reference background Missions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
110 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Base gameplay helped to create NieR: Automata gameplay, if you look closely Both gameplays are almost identical, also Both games were made by Platinum Games
😎👍
I was hoping for more facts around the plot and story and even waited until finishing the game before watching this, oh well. Still some good and fun facts here.
Drakengard needs a little more attention. It's like Nier, but with dragons! also D3 is very strange and oddly funny.
For the number 79 the locked doors are a DLC thing you get when you buy the game of Yorha edition
Yoko taro has a lot of talented friends.
Please Yoko Taro, GIVE US ANOTHER NIER GAME!
I remember getting the first game off of eBay for 5 dollars when i was 12, and i fell in love with it, it makes me sad that the reason it got such a bad review because a minor game glitch, Im so happy more people like this one when it came out
trashchan Even better when most game reviewers got stuck fishing for the Monk fish and didn't bother to look at the mini map
Devola and Popola are using Kaine's swords from the first game.
I love playing as A2. She has such a different personality as opposed to the others. Which is to say she has a lot of it. The other player characters have great personalities but they're very calm and collected. A2 however is much more assertive.
Even though her and 2b have the same attack animations, their attitudes make it seem like two completely different styles
GAME OF THE YEAR!! It won't be, but sp far it is mine
