The J200 started at US$85k so this new J250 is a much more reasonable product placement. Americans want a premium brand at the higher price point, so we still get the $100k+ Lexus LX but not the J300 LC.
The full sizes Land Cruiser never sold well in North America. It was too big and priced too close the the Lexus LX. The Land Cruiser Prado is better suited for North America and is sold all over the world.
I do like the looks BUT I still say I’m not sure where this fits in the lineup. Either go with a comparable 4Runner (and save a little) Or spend a little more and get Lexus GX. I get it if you just simply like the LndC better buuuuut. 🤷🏻♂️
Unlike their sibling, Lexus GX, the Land Cruiser doesn't have a third row seat that seats 7 so you'll have to wait for the 2028 MY where the vehicle is being refresh which adds a standard third row seat
Don't like stepped rear window, nor glossy black trim, i keep driving my LC J150 Prado 3.0L diesel 2012 for a few more years, beautiful car. Never buy the first batch. Good luck!
I like this colour but black roof would look better. They are gonna be big $$$$. Supposedly only 180 pound on the battery cover in the back?? My dog is heavier than that🐶
MEH, it's OK. Overpriced for materials but lockers on point, crawl control good, sensors for everything annoying, still would drive it but not at those prices.

A Landcuriser for North American marketplace. Rest of the world gets the REAL Landcuriseres. Such as 70 series and 75/76 and 79 versions.
