Ecutek? Wtf? I’ve NEVER heard of that. I’m in Northern California and everyone has bm3 or mhd, sometimes both. I assume ecutek still needs a bench unlock? (I’m 2019 g20)
@@g20_bms ecutek is what the tune GTRs on. Also many JDM cars use Ecutek too. It’s a little bit more advanced but they started to tune BMWs when the MK5 Supra came out. All the fastest BMWs & supras are on ecutek from NoHesi & Peppa to STI Mikey’s G80 and Supra. Ecutek actually needs a special bench unlock called an Ecutek unlock which is an extra $500, which is super annoying but I’ve heard for high horsepower cars it’s worth it. It just lets the tuner change more things

I have seen it happen on cars with MHD and bootmod3. Your tune just has to be good enough & put that much fuel into the car. My friend has an OTS map on his 540i from MHD & he can't do it but my brother has an F80 M3 with MHD custom tune from RK Tunes & he can shoot flames easily

@@GearsAndGains1 my old 335 shot flames but only out one side lol. I had a jb4 + mhd, catless dps and straight piped. It was obnoxious.
