Something fresh and aggressive looking, that's built tuff. I'm a fan of those tires too, pretty awesome all around tire. I'm stoked to start my build, thanks for giving me a fresh breath of rc awesomeness, liked & sub'd. If your tractor tires are too big but you still want the look, why not get a set of 1.9s and stretch them over the 2.2s. They are a prolly closer in size to the mudslingers you have on it.
The 1.9 tractor tires are way too small. 4.48in / 113.9mm My Slingers are 4.88" (124mm) The 1.9 would most likely look a bit goofy on the 2.2 rim since it's so skinny as well ;o) I have the Bomber knuckles on my rig so I can run 1.9ers. I may get the 1.9er mud bashers to try yet. But may just use the longer shocks with stiffer springs as well.They need to make a tractor tire somewhere between the 2.2 and 1.9 really. About the size of the Slinger or maybe just a tad bigger. JConcepts got me thinking there may be a tractot tire coming for the 1:8th scale wheels. Like my Bushmaster wheels with a tire like that would have that look
Thanks! I already did lol! I put the original 125mm shocks with alum. upgrades. Changed the springs and put on the tractor tires. More travel for jumps and better servo clearance too :) I may have kept it lower if they would make a tractor tire between the 2.2 and 1.9 OD sizes. Neither are truly the rite size but the 1.9's would look so silly even with the 105mm shocks. So...It is what it is :o) The Mud Slingers are cool for sure but wanted the mega truck look more.

The Rear Body Hinges are a Great idea!! Magnets for the Hood would have been more Scale... Rare Earth Magnets sold today are VERY Strong! I use them to hold whole Bodies on, without issue.

There are a lot of companies. Axial has the greatest aftermarket parts support of anyone. Rite from large companies to small one man operations making cool stuff. Look up Axial groups on facebook, join the groups and you'll leasrn plenty real fast :o)

I just bought a Max-D roller off eBay, and plan to just set it up as a mega/trail truck. I simply like the way the SMT10 chassis looks. TH-cam does need more SMT10 videos, so I’ll try and get some up, once I’m up & running. 😁
