The knock from the rear wheels is gone now, and it seems less floaty coming out of a corner. I would say though that this is more of a safety upgrade as opposed to a handling upgrade.
@@Horus_Works Do you feel vibration being it’s solid? I’m on the fence of buying them for that reason. I have to do my upper , lower control arm bushing and subframe bushings. My car is a weekend car for weekends and it more for driving enjoyment
@@wroman786 I definitely can't feel any more vibration than I did before. But I would say that if all of the bushings were replaced with harder options, the ride would probably be more solid. I for one think the Mustang rides too soft for good cornering so I'd prefer if it was more solid.
Love all your videos; easy to follow & very professional. Would also LOVE to see & guess a few others would love to see a video on obtaining an Australian clutch cable & the installation if you can oblige.
Thanks a lot Peter - I appreciate your support. I tend to make videos on the issues my car needs, as I'm not sponsored or supported by any organisations. Therefore these videos are done using my own budget and they tend to focus on what my own cars need. I may end up doing a clutch cable video one day, but since my car at the moment has no clutch issues and I don't see anyone donating a free item, this may have to wait for me. Hope that makes sense, and thanks again.
Thank you Eric for returning my request & I understand your situation. I have a clutch cable that I purchased a couple of months ago but I am not certain that it is exactly what I need as I have been told that it is not correct. I guess it is a similar situation with trying to establish exactly how many Mustang Cobras did indeed be imported to Australia back in 2001. There are many numbers floated out there but none that I can be confident about apart from what Ford has sent me. Thank You again for your reply.
@Peter Buckingham No problem Peter, and sorry that I can't be of more help right now. If you do get to the bottom of the problem, please share the results here so that others can also benefit 👍 wishing you the best of luck with finding the solution.
All good mate & thank you. I feel the New Edge Mustang Cobras are definitely becoming a cult following both in the USA & Australia. The one problem I see is the confusion with identifying the quantity that were imported in 2001 as there are no hard facts just people surmising mostly. I have official information from Ford about my car but even that information is questioned by others. Due to the Australian conversions there are a lot of parts that are not available here or the USA which makes it difficult when things can go wrong. I will let you know if/when I learn more about the correct clutch cable for these vehicles & anything else I find. Regards - Peter
@Peter Buckingham yes these cars are definitely unicorns, which will make it harder and harder to find parts as the years go by. I think that remaking bespoke parts and rebuilding others may be the only way to go in some cases. A foreign concept these days, but it was normal many years ago. With the clutch cable, if you have absolutely no luck finding a replacement unit, perhaps try approaching some racing shops to see if they know someone in the trade who could make one for you to the same specs. Definitely keep in touch mate 👍
Yes, the new edge was indeed an sn95. That platform was a fox body with small changes. It went from 94-04. The outer skins were redesigned as “new edge” in 99. I have a 99 Cobra also.
Another cracking video bud. Best wishes from the UK
Thanks a lot legend! 👍
Great video easy to understand.👍👍👍
Glad to hear that!
Loved this video. Great work. Let us know how it feels now?!
Thank you! Will do!
Great as always! Keep up the good work and the videos coming 😊
Thank you! Will do!
How it dives after ? Big difference ?
