    I'm a blacksmith and machinist myself and must say they are probably the nicest looking sledgehammers I've ever seen to this day.
    Far to beautiful to be abused in a workshop. :)

    • @Cssfiend
      @Cssfiend 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gusbisbal9803 hes going broke doing it because no one who needs a striking sledge wants an $800 decorated striking sledge in a bag with very questionable heat treatment, personally I just don't see $800 worth of work or material there regardless of those other issues

    • @gusbisbal9803
      @gusbisbal9803 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cssfiend No one buys a hammer like this to do work with it. Thats like buying a ferrari to go do the shopping. What is sending him broke is the amount of time he is taking to do them. Even if he had 50 people wanting to buy them he is still going broke because it takes him about 50 hours to make one. You Sir are not the target market. You want a hammer to work with. This has nothing to do with that. If you don't understand that then before you start a business please understand the variables involved here.

    • @Cssfiend
      @Cssfiend 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gusbisbal9803 You are right that I am not the target market, as a business owner I buy high quality functional tools to do work with. Your Ferrari comparison doesn't work, Ferraris are bought to be driven, even if it is not close to their limits and only for a couple of days a year. This hammer is never going to be used, ever, because anyone spending $800 on one, certainly doesn't have the ability to do so, even if they had the will. Personally I don't like the terms 'nu-male' or 'soyboy' but they really are the only way to describe the target market for these incredibly overpriced wall decorations sold by youtube 'makers' whose real skill instead lies in self marketing and video editing.

    • @gusbisbal9803
      @gusbisbal9803 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cssfiend Ok now your just being a Dick, A Ferrari is a status item. That is in their business plan dude. Its actually written in. Its the reason they have not dropped their prices to the levels of the high end Porsche. They debated that at one stage and decided that its best sold as a status item. There is custom craftsmanship items and production items. One you make a brand out of, the other you make money out of. What do you think he is doing here?

    Glad your are back! Definitely you nailed it with this new style of video editing. Besides this piece of art and all of the positive comments that you are receiving (and I agree with them), I have to say thank you! The passionate you are on this is really inspiring. Recently I was talking with a local maker (greetings from Argentina), and randomly you name was on the chat, and we both agreed that your videos were our kick start for us to start spending much time on the making. Nowadays it is a hobby, but who knows... it's just matter of founding ourselves as you mentioned.
    Keep doing that great! and thank you again. I will be making some fabrications based on your designs, hope you don't bother, instead, consider it as some kind of tribute.
