I need to pin a comment as I keep getting told how cheap a cross pein hammer is. It seems when I explain I couldn't get one where I live and I needed one straight away, somehow that's not understood! I understand this isn't a high quality hammer and I'm not comparing it to one but it'll get me by for a while!
Also for everyone asking about the grinder, it really is an amazing machine, it's made by 84 Engineering and sold by www.artisansupplies.com.au :)

Some find wood handles to be superior for their jobs. Smiths tend to prefer wood handles for their performance. Additionally, wood handles resist damage from heat sources better than the composite.

In Russia we got old joke about this.
Some country bought assembly line for Soviet fighter jets, and some knocked down kits. However, after assembly they got tractor, not a plane. One retry, two, three, rereading plans - still got tractors. Then they called original manufacturers to ask what's wrong. Their responce is:
    - Do you read assembly manual? You need to elaborately file the completed machine after the assembly!

Seriously though, I always enjoy videos like these. They give me a lot of ideas for improving my own work. I was only making fun if the idea that you had to make sure your hammer worked. It's not like a hammer is a common metaphor for a crude, imprecise and simple person or devise

Have you finished the Scrap wood challenge as I enjoyed all the things you made out of what most people would consider firewood? Great video and keep them coming.
