And I agree with you on the bullying, if Wormie had felt loved and accepted, instead he was looking for saftey with the Muraders, but if he felt true friendship he wouldn't have betrayed Lily and James.
He never exactly 'went wrong'. He always was wrong, just as many of us are deep down. Really, peter had weaknesses, and any weakness in a person can be exploited by others. And, when we've been targeted and exploited, we do awful things. So, it's your weakness really that could make you just like Peter. It might not be your fear. He was fine and so are all of us, until our weaknesses become all consuming due to the situation we may be in. Under the right set of conditions, any of us could do horrific things if we don't try and understand our weaknesses and improve on them and to try and make the brave choice every day and not the easy one. At least, that's what I think anyway. it's kind of a scary thought that anyone could be a potential monster and do straight up evil things one day though. ok I'm seriously wondering why they didn't hesitate to give Peter order of merlin first class for "standing up to black" but gave newt scamander order of merlin SECOND CLASS for fighting and capturing Grindewald multiple times, like WHAT.
I love how Pettigrew had that one moment of redemption at the end. Certainly not enough to fully redeem him, he got what he deserved, but enough to make you almost feel bad for him.
Why was Neville sorted into Gryffindor? He wasn't the bravest at the beginning either. It's about potential more than anything. Wormtail probably had the potential to become a better and braver person - much like Neville. And he does show some bravery in the last book which is what leads to his death. You could say that spying on the entire Order of the Phoenix is also rather brave in a way.
I genuinely do like this character. He was smart enough to frame Sirius and cause a rift in the marauder "friendship" with everyone pointing fingers all the time. If anything he was the most loyal Death Eater at the end of the day and showed a real lack of mercy.

I honestly think Mcgonnogal needed a stern talking down to for her treatment of Peter Pettigrew as a student. While it may have been true that he was a 'stupid, foolish boy', it was somewhat critical and unnecessary to call him that. And it sends the wrong message. Teachers, whether intentional or not, should never weed out or abuse students emotionally. They could be constructively critical of them but not judge, jury and executioner.
Really, *REALLY* wish that Remus had remembered to take his goddamned wolfsbane potion. -_- Seriously, fuck that stupid mistake. It would've been amazing to finally give Serius and Harry a break.
I love your videos. They are so fascinating and awesome! You're so cool. I suspect that upon entering the afterlife, he was not welcomed with open arms. I'm sorry but he betrayed his friends just for power?! Also he killed Cedric diggory! Overall your videos are still so awesome! If I could make a few video suggestions, do What Happened when Ton Riddle alias the future Voldemort met his muggle father. You can do a possible scaninro of what possibly happened. Or how bullying and the effects it had on Snape, Myrtle. Or was araina an obscruli? Just some ideas. 😍
I've always wondered what happened when/if Voldemort met his mother in the after life. Rowling said that Tom might have turned out much different if his mother had lived. I think this is because she would have loved him very much, like she did Tom Riddle Sr. So what would happen if Tom met Merope in death. We know in life his mind was warped into sociopathy, because of his lack of being loved. But as a spirit beyond the veil do you think he might have been able to finally feel love, and embrace his mother?
richiefranklin76 I thought the same thing. I don't think it'd be a happy reunion. He probably think of her as weak. Maybe had she lived, he would be different. He would probably be protective of her... That's my opinion.
It wouldn't have worked because Snape was a Death Eater who was friends with people who looked at her as mudblood. Imagine Snape and Lily having a double date with Lucius and Narcissa. James shared Lily's ideals and believes and they both even joined the Order where they fought for what they both believed in. Snape didn't share Lily's ideals and believes but joined the Death Eaters to fight against what she believed in.
In a way, I can understand why they did not include Pettigrew’s death scene from the book in the film. It would have been very disturbing for young audiences. I was already disturbed when I read that strangling scene myself. Yet I also question why they didn’t apply the same logic to Dobby’s death.
Please do "The life of Neville Longbottom". He's a great character with a very nice development and with this, one of my favorite characters. Looking forward to seeing the video popping up in my subtab 😍
AWESOME! and the new starting page and music are also fantastic, reminds me of the trailer of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2. Thank you very much HARRY POTTER FOLKLORE.
D D yes he is. He betrayed his friends. His animagus form suits him. He was willing to hurt Harry the person who spared his pathetic life and how does petgrew repay Harry?! By cutting him and using his blood to bring back Voldemort!
Good as always, now a couple of things: 1 - There's some karmic justice in Snape having to deal with Wormtail. Right in his face is the other end of his great sin, the one without whose cowardly betrayal Lily would still be alive. Wormtail's betrayal book-ended Snape's telling Voldemort of the Prophecy, and his own willingness to let a man and a baby be killed so long as Lily lived. That must have been hard, in addition to his overall masquerade. 2 - I've always felt that Pettigrew's days were numbered no matter what. Even if dismissed and held in contempt by Voldemort, he was still a crucial part of his rebirth, perhaps even the most crucial part. If he had won, it's easy to imagine Voldemort 'editing' Wormtail out of that narrative, creating the impression that even Barty Junior was only a delivery boy and that he just returned when he was ready. Since Wormtail would have at least somewhat and quietly countered that narrative, it was only a matter of time. Plus, he was just annoying.
Unpopular opinion here but I believe Peter Pettigrew was a good person he just was kind of dumb so we went down the wrong path plus think he was shy he was a coward and he was fatherless he ALSO spent years trying to be an anamagi instead of telling everybody Remus was a Wearwolf so I feel like he wasn’t that bad.
In books, its metion that Dumbledoor was aware about this sacrifice how? " You gave Ron the Deluminator. You understood him . . . You gave him a way back. . . . And you understood Wormtail too . . . You knew there was a bit of regret there, somewhere. . . . "
"Identifying his lack of a role model" - Nice to know mothers can't be role models or inspirational figures to their children. No one says Luna lacks a role model with only a father, instead he is held in high esteem as a father.
@@Vampybattie My partner had no male father figure - well he did but a terrible one. He saw his mother as a role model and now he's a very kind, compassionate, and wonderful man because he had an incredible mother. We need to stop treating mothers like they aren't good enough to be role models to their children or teach them how to be well-rounded individuals.
@@Vampybattie They need their mother's just as well. Both parents have a role in their children's lives, no matter the gender. In other statistics, you'd find that boys need their mother just as much as their fathers.
Everyone here is hating Peter, it's pretty sad, he is one of my favorite characters. He just choosed the wrong way because he was so afraid. What i tought, is that Wormtail needed more attention, love and support from his friends and family and because he didn't get it and he was so scared of the dark lord, he trusted that it's better to join him than die.

This man is definitely one of my most hated fictional characters. I can safely say I even loathe him more than I despise some people in real life. How dare he have the audacity to continue living as a rat for 12 years under the care of the lovely Weasleys? Especially after betraying his two best friends to their greatest enemy and killing 12 muggles in plain sight, making his other best friend the scapegoat. They happen to be the very friends who he was entrusted to protect from the Dark Lord. His cowardice and selfishness only makes me have nothing more than disgust and loathe for him. Poor Ron, he had to sleep with a supposedly ‘dead’ man for 12 years on a daily basis.

Wait a second... You said Sirius was arrested for being a death eater ? How does that even work... Aren't they all supposed to have a dark mark ? I would have thought they just checked people for the dark mark before branding them death eaters, especially after having arrested them... The video is beautiful, though...
Dieezah1 Only the very high ranking death eaters were branded with the dark mark. Fenrir Greyback was a death eater without the dark mark, therefore it would be ambiguous about Sirius’s allegiance even without the dark mark
It is also mentioned that the ministry did shockingly little to prove Sirius guilt. They didnt even use Veritserum. Most likely to make the ministry look good
Anuradha Banerjee I would accept your explanation as it would make sense if only Wormtail wasn't said here to have the dark mark... I don't see him being an important death eater before his return to the Dark Lord (after finding his master again)...

It would effect the story just SOO MUCH!!
What if Ron never came back? What if Ginny married Dean?
Lunatrix Weasley .
Yea Dean?
What if Ginny had married you????
Out of curiosity, what do you think would happen if Wormtail was able to frame Sirius without faking his death and became the caretaker at Hogwarts?
that's a pretty interesting thought!
Solar Dwarf I think that the position would probably suit him, plus it would still be a viable way to watch Harry.
He would have been killed by Sirius.
Solar Dwarf True
Well stuff.
ok I'm seriously wondering why they didn't hesitate to give Peter order of merlin first class for "standing up to black" but gave newt scamander order of merlin SECOND CLASS for fighting and capturing Grindewald multiple times, like WHAT.
Racism clearly.
First class, second class....those does not mean that they are ranks......those are just categories.....all classes are awarded for different acts
I love how Pettigrew had that one moment of redemption at the end. Certainly not enough to fully redeem him, he got what he deserved, but enough to make you almost feel bad for him.
He’s a coward, why was he sorted into Gryffindor
Because he asked the sorting hat too. Is the choices that matters rather than your ability
The quality you value not possess matters
Well he definitely isn't ravenclaw material.
Hufflepuff is the house for outcasts (The ones nobody else wants) so he should be hufflepuff. (But idk really)
Peter was sorted into Gryffindor.
He became one of Lord Voldemort's servants.
*Now this is just confusing.*
Petigrew and Umbridge = Gross love 😆
At least Pettigrew held some regret for the bad things he'd done. Umbridge however, didn't give a crap about the horrible things she'd done.
pug sparrow because they are both disgusting scumbags
LOL
I ship them. They deserve each other. They are both arragant prices of work.
Ugly people make pretty babies 😧
😂😂😂
I genuinely do like this character. He was smart enough to frame Sirius and cause a rift in the marauder "friendship" with everyone pointing fingers all the time. If anything he was the most loyal Death Eater at the end of the day and showed a real lack of mercy.
Man! Pettigrew switched allegiance faster than the elder wand!
Flippin sides for a bitch, like darth vader.
@@jaysonisgreat that's different, Anakin beileved that the Jedi were evil and him going to the Darkside would save his lovw ones. He wanted to bring peace to the Galaxy and make things the way he wanted to be. Peter left because of fear of the Dark Lord

Hello
Do u think an order of the Phoenix prequel would work
Brian the lion 11 prequel about what?

The order of the Phoenix in the first wizarding war!
Brian the lion 11 that sounds good
Ohhhh I get it now 😂I was being really silly when I first read this and thought it meant aprequel to the 5th book. And I thought wouldn't that just be the goblet of fire? 😂
But that sounds soooo good! I'd love to watch that

If Peter was so afraid of death why didn't he turn into a ghost?
My theory is that he didn't want to die, but he also didn't want to come back to that chaotic world once he died.
Hey, ghost you need to have unfinished business what unfinished business is Peter Pettigrew what I mean by unfinished business is something that you were meant to finish and succeed or overpower or something like that before you died since he died but he never had any unfinished business what was the point of him becoming ghost and wise Wizards will not become ghosts you see the gray lady her aspire to finish was tonight be at her mother's Shadow bloody Baron what he needed to finish was to be in love with the gray lady and take her sweep her off her feet nearly headless Nick needed to finish that where is this is less than or something need to have unfinished business to become a ghost that's just my point
@@rebeccaestimable8714 No Nearly Headless Nick told Harry that the one who come back as ghost will be the one who is afraid of death.
@@sruthymukundan1354 Idk it was something I read from a hp fan page do you might be right💛
Because his soul was so heavy with taint that it went straight to hell
I honestly think Mcgonnogal needed a stern talking down to for her treatment of Peter Pettigrew as a student. While it may have been true that he was a 'stupid, foolish boy', it was somewhat critical and unnecessary to call him that. And it sends the wrong message. Teachers, whether intentional or not, should never weed out or abuse students emotionally. They could be constructively critical of them but not judge, jury and executioner.
She was sorry about it. Read the prisoner of Azkaban book
I’ve been impatiently waiting for this video to come out and I have to wait to watch it due to hockey playoffs
This man ended the first wizarding war, and then started the second wizarding war. Quiet impressive actually
Great new intro!! 👍 Another AMAZING VIDEO!!
Really, *REALLY* wish that Remus had remembered to take his goddamned wolfsbane potion. -_- Seriously, fuck that stupid mistake. It would've been amazing to finally give Serius and Harry a break.
Fantastic vid Dean, Peter Pettigrew and umbridge hated just as much as voldemort .
Could you do what ifs again?
8:23 - She only demanded an apology from him in the film adaption. Such a demand never happened in the book.
I love your videos!! They are the best!! Please do a video on “What would’ve happened if Severus Snape married Lily Potter?”
No story. The.End.
Lmao
0.314 subscribers with no videos ? There still would be a story

BURN IN HELL PETER
It’s not us for us to decide who goes there. Only God’s. I don’t even think hell is where people in the Harry Potter world go after they die.
Ooooo!
What would have happened is Petunia became a witch?
In a way, I can understand why they did not include Pettigrew’s death scene from the book in the film. It would have been very disturbing for young audiences. I was already disturbed when I read that strangling scene myself. Yet I also question why they didn’t apply the same logic to Dobby’s death.
Fun fact in an original draft of HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban the DADA Professor was meant to be Enid Pettigrew as well as the Divination professor
Please do "The life of Neville Longbottom". He's a great character with a very nice development and with this, one of my favorite characters. Looking forward to seeing the video popping up in my subtab 😍

Do a vid about why Sirius didn't change into his dog form after peter attck the muggles
i guess he was a broken man anyways and thought it wouldnt be worth to live without james and lily and so on
It was too much of a shock for him to think clearly and escape as a dog.
he had a breakdown. Apparently he just stood and laughed.

TOP 10 QUESTIONS SCIENCE STILL CANNOT EXPLAIN: Peter got into Griffindor
He is creepy!😱
Anna Phoenix I agree with you. Shudders.. he:s a coward and a traitor and an evil jerk.
D D yes he is. He betrayed his friends. His animagus form suits him. He was willing to hurt Harry the person who spared his pathetic life and how does petgrew repay Harry?! By cutting him and using his blood to bring back Voldemort!
who else thinks its weird that Wormtail (peter pettigrew) was still overweight after living as a rat and eating small amounts of food for 13 years
Congratulations on 5k on your Instagram!
Amazing one of the best video
Theory idea: Why did Salazar Slytherin hate muggleborns so much
Witch burnings perhaps
Good as always, now a couple of things:
1 - There's some karmic justice in Snape having to deal with Wormtail.
Could you do the life of neville longbottom
I have enormous hatred for peter pettigrew and also umbride of course
How did sirius give harry the firebolt with no finger prints
ThephantomGonzalezboy 436 He used magic
He probably ordered it through quality quidditch supplied directly to harry
Jreper he could’ve used magic
Tien Tran doubt it,with all the extra security around the castle and extra security it was easier to just order it to Harry
Jreper true
the work you do to make the videos better every time, it 's amazing !
Choices make you who you are. Pettigrew made the wrong choixes
Wow.. I didn't even know that this was his past, except for the part where when he was an animagi.

"Identifying his lack of a role model" - Nice to know mothers can't be role models or inspirational figures to their children.
No one says Luna lacks a role model with only a father, instead he is held in high esteem as a father.
Sorry it just truth it was even studied son need male father figure
@@Vampybattie My partner had no male father figure - well he did but a terrible one. He saw his mother as a role model and now he's a very kind, compassionate, and wonderful man because he had an incredible mother. We need to stop treating mothers like they aren't good enough to be role models to their children or teach them how to be well-rounded individuals.
@@marinatebbenham4011 lol one doesn't mean anything. Statistics tells different story boys need their father.

HAppY eNdinG he let it slip to u know who & brought about their deaths

How do you do all the pictures and writing and what app do you use to get them also what app do use to edit
Loved the text and the pictures! Awesome video!
Me too I love it so much it's looks like documentary about biography history channel interview with oasr awesome picture awards TCM hollywood ghost hunters in movie theater TV series season show on doing live stream story ture life movie made
=sigh= Why do your videos have to be so entertaining that I can't stop watching?
The dark mark disappeared after the fall of the dark lord if you read the books as he gains strength the mark reapers
rmcarter2107 I've read them so long ago... I probably should try to find the time to read them again...
15:46 You went from Pettigrew's death to thanking us to watching sooo quickly like it was nothing to talk about hahaha
