Thank you so much for the referral! CPAP seems much more confusing that it actually is, once you understand it. Many of my students initially get confused and try to use it to help ventilate a patient that does’t have adequate chest ruse (tidal volume). I assume that happens because the name of the device includes the words “Positive Pressure”, which can definitely be confusing.
