My husband died three months ago from being exposed to agent orange. I knew 2023 was going to be my last year with him, nothing doctors did seemed to help anymore. I’m thankful though because he’s breathing easier and comfortable again. We were married 54 years, I miss him and love him very much and always will.
I have heart disease, Parkinson’s, and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma from Agent Orange. Have received more help from the VA than I ever expected. I’m 78 and I don’t intend to lay down and give up!

John, I think most of us have died already. I’m the last living man in our squadron of 100 men. I’m fairly certain, although the VA will never admit it, my symptoms didn’t start appearing until after I retired from the Air Force at 25 years of service and I had held several command positions. I was also deployed during the Desert Storm and I had my second heart attack about one year after coming back. And I didn’t anger the VA by hiring an attorney or using any PI from the Air Force. I used a VSO just like everyone else. After I didn’t hear anything from the VA after a year following my application, I called a VA help i look office to see if there was a problem (not to complain) The VA told me they couldn’t get any medical records for my service between 1972 and 1075. I simply said “I understand. It’s probably because I was assigned to a Special Operations Unit and that mission is still classified Top Secret.” I offered to make one phone call, but told the gentleman it probably wouldn’t do any good and thanked him for the information and politely ended the conversation. One month later I received my decision rating. And the VA has done everything for me any Veteran could ask of them. If you’re still having problems, if your State has a VSO service (like Missouri) that’s the best place to get help. No Veteran should be left behind and I’ll pray for you to receive the help you deserve and pray for you improved health. God Bless You ✝️

Just found out my brother has been put on Agent Orange disability. He was a helicopter pilot and was exposed, probably more than once. He has throat issues and his voice is raspy, has difficulty swallowing and other issues. He's a shadow of his former self. War is definitely hell.
@@goldiefaun Blame the chemical companies that are still dumping toxins all over our food. Do you think they told anyone about the damage that stuff could do. Do you think they're telling us the truth now?
I was a Marine in Vietnam during the TET offensive in 1968, and the Agent Orange exposure has caught up with me. Lung issues (possibly cancer) and breathing problems. I’m walking by faith.
I too am suffering everyday from Agent Orange exposure. I had a massive heart attack do to ischemic heart and no i am left with an Aneurysm on the heart. It is in a bad place that they don't want to touch. So i live my life waiting for that day when it goes. The doctor told the wife, the night of my heart attack that i would not make it through the night, but a week later i walked out of the hospital, because i believe God had other ideas for me at the time. My time is coming though, i feel it all the time. I also suffer with 13 herniated dics in the spine they can't figure where they come from.
I dislike that many of the stories don't give the details of Agent Orange. In a nutshell, Agent Orange is a 50/50 mix of 2,4,-D and 2,4,5-T. To increase production during manufacturing, the temperature would be increased. That increased the levels of dioxin, the primary toxin (imo) in Agent Orange. Agent Orange was only one of the "Rainbow Herbicides". Agent White was picloram, AKA Tordon, still used today, excellent for applying to freshly cut stumps to kill them. As an aside, triclopyr is similar in weed killing performance to 2,4,5-T. The herbicide called "Crossbow" is a mix of 2,4,-D and triclopyr. So, if you want comparable weed killing performance as Agent Orange, use Crossbow. I use it around buildings, excellent on broadleaves, and vine type weeds and small trees. On large trees, it will kill the limb you spray it on. On small trees, spray the whole tree, and you'll probably kill it. If you kill a large tree with it by accident, don't say I didn't warn you, its just been my experience. I usually mix it with a high rate of glyphosate (Roundup), and a crop oil (surfactant), that mix will kill almost everything. For long term weed free areas, include Pramitol, Sahara, or some other soil sterilizer. If you ever see 2,4,5-T herbicide (banned since the 80's but I've seen it in an old building), or Gramoxone/Paraquat, immediately run away. Gramoxone/Paraquat is one chemical I would never touch with a ten ft. pole.
