Convert Load Combination to Repeat Load using User Tool - Theory and Application

For any second order or iterative analysis, repeat load case is required. For any advanced analysis, load combinations are not valid. But if you have already generated the load combinations in your model, then it is hard to change those to repeat load and also the process is time consuming.
In this video I have discussed how to convert load combination to repeat load in a single click using a custom user tool. Also this tool extracts the combination information which might be helpful later.

Hello Surojit, First of all thanks for such helpful Macro, it will save a lot of time. Just want to understand, is Pdelta analysis mandatory as per IS1893 part 4 seismic code for all categories of structure? Do advise.

@@surojit_ghosh the published macro is for converting load combination to repeat load,iam asking the macro which you use for creating combination in Staad model directly from excel,in this macro i saw when creating combinations,you have two options
1. load comb and and another option is to create repeat load combination as seen in your video on 10:30 minutes,the macro is named as Generate Combination and Envelope
