Test riding my Ducati Sport Classic 1000

- Taking the bike out for its first ride after being in storage for over 10 years from its previous owner.
(Also testing go pro and new microphone settings)
My 2007 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Biposto. I have wanted this particular bike for a very long time and finally found one with less than 5k miles. Mods done so far are the smoke black brake / clutch reservoirs, the Corse Dynamics fender eliminator + tail light, and the led front turn signals.
i fell in love with this bike after watching TRON: Legacy... Still dreaming about it, it's been 12 years! :D Great bike. I hope you to enjoy it to the fullest and drive safe!
Thank you! I think everyone did when it came on screen including myself. I do my best to take care of it and make sure she gets the ride time she deserves. It is an amazing motorcycle to ride.

Badass bike! I've wanted one since seeing Tron , have owned other Ducati(s/es) But most sport classic 1000s that come my way are are beat-up bikes. I feel resoring those are going to be a bitch expensive endeavor.
You're 100% correct. Finding good used sports cars/bikes is rough, takes a long time, and needs a bit of good luck as well.

I've had the same bike since almost new. 30.000 miles so far and nothing but smiles! Enjoy yours !

Looking and sounding ok. Even that pop on the overrun isn't bad but it doesn't come close to the old bevel Ducatis with open Dell'Orto carbs and Conti silencers.

What mods, if any, have you done to the bike? Especially to make it sound like that?!
I can't hear any down changes. What technique are you using?
I wouldn't say I was using a technique as much as I was experimenting with the bike on deceleration. Prior to this I was having issues with the bike dying on me as I came to a stop from anything above 4k rpm. Some of the lights I kill the throttle entirely to see if the bike would die again and other times I rev matched to see if there was any change or effect. Next video I'll be sure to catch some nice downshifting pops and crackles.

@@Spartansrule118 So far. When I purchased it I needed to change the belts due to them being so old. Other than the changing spark plugs and the notorious rectifier issue these and the monsters have, the bike has ran amazing.

@@PK-bb8kw Unfortunately they don’t sell this model anymore. 2010 was the last year of production. The only place you can find one is online from a private seller.
