I've owned many GBB pistols over my 15 years of collecting from WE, KJW, and even KWA. I can honestly say, the all plastic TMs are THE best option as far as pistols go. The plastic isn't cheap. The hop-ups TM use are great making them accurate and shoot far despite the lower fps. The plastic slide means a FAST cycle rate and will still work even in colder temps where as the heavy metal slides will not.
i love your accuracy test, you rest the gun on a stand, which minimize any human error such as hand shaking, i think it is essential. i have seen other channel's video conduct their so called "accuracy test" by off hand and their hand keep on shaking... that's terrible... i know that airsoft gun may not be very very accurate compare to airgun or firearm for sure, but you need to have some attitude if you want to test a gun's accuracy.
I have a TM 5-7 myself and I'm pretty sure it could run propane. However, what I did is I bought a duster gas adapter (the Airsoft Innovations Propane Adapter comes with one) and then bought cans of computer keyboard duster gas from a local department store. It's basically the same exact thing, the only difference is you have to add silicone oil yourself. If you do this, though, MAKE SURE you check that it says "Tetrafluoroethane" (aka HFC-134a) on the can, NOT "Difluoroethane" (aka HFC-152a).
Nice review Jai - have 2 of these in chrome for ott indoor games and they are a world of fun (and accurate). You forgot to mention how easy it is to adjust the hop btw. Keep the reviews coming!
It stands for Computer Numerical Controlled. It works on a simple X-Y-Z co-ordinate to machine components (mostly metals) out of solid blocks of material. We'll show everyone on an episode just how capable it is!
204.07. If you look at the link in the description the website should show you in USD, but if not the top right buttons are the euro, pound, and dollar, so you can change them around!
EpicAirsoftHD , I have one of these , and this is the only thing I use in CQB i don't need no tri-shot anymore or so , only bad thing is in my opinion is that the front post is pretty loose , and I've lost it
Airsoft World have bought them in bulk. That generally brings the price down a whole lot. Also, the retail price is subjective to the store. I guess they are happy selling it cheap with not a lot of profit! :-)
I live in Tokyo and the chrome metal version here is only £110. I'm from Scotland and I have to say, Airsoft guns in Scotland are mega expensive compared to the prices in Japan
Newer TM GBBs are much stronger than the old ones so green gas is just fine. In the hotter summer months I run duster gas, but I have not had issues running propane the rest of the year. Dropping any airsoft gun on concrete will cause damage, so that's not really an issue for me. Quality plastics are generally STRONGER than a lot of the cheap pot metals companies like WE and KJW use.
I know you have a LONG LONG list of guns your still have to go through, but it would be greatly appreciated if youcould assign the Tokyo Marui M9 GBB at the bottom of that list. Thanks so much for doing these reviews.
We need to: 1. Take a break. 2. Set the range up. 3. Drink Jägermeister. 4. Eat Peanut M&M's. 5. Get the gun ready. 6. Test said gun and set the hop. 7. Re-position the cameras and lighting. 8. Align the vice... etc. etc. We're 2 blokes with a couple of cameras. Not the Top Gear production crew! :-P
If I were you,I will get the TM version because it shoots well and if you dont like the abs plastic on it theres a Guarder kit that replaces the plastic with full metal but of course it very expensive and it has all of the right markings just like the real steel gun.So go for the TM.Oh and its really hard to get the gun and the guarder kit because your at canada me too men. :(
Hi, Jai.. Good easy understandable report! Can I say something, it's more better to write circle on bullet-hole by red ink pen, like real gun accuracy check report. It's slightly hard to see the evidence, now.
yep 100% correct, you said it correctly, couldnt say it better myself, ive also played 15 years now, owned over 1500 guns, right now i own 6 systema ptws, both mp5 m4 and m16, dont ask me why i have so many haha. but yea TM guns are actually my favorite out of all manufacturers. ive built and rebuilt probably every single airsoft gun ever made. but you are correct
I wish! Na at BEST it was 18°c, but yes i was using green gas. It took about a total of 4 hours use all together for the sides to crack apart from the main slide. Probably shouldn't of used Green gas with the plastic slide, its only cause my TM G17 held up fine on the green stuff so i tried my luck
It looks like a good pistol, but I was a little disappointed with the recoil, since I saw the recoil on a KWC desert eagle CO2, which is much stronger than the Tokyo mauri.
Nicely listed. I like to do that to look busy myself. :-) 5, 6, 7, 8 are actually all number 2. 3 & 4 get done in 1, as do the rest. So essentially, you do 1 & 2. There's no great deal about the editing, if anything, it's a nice smooth transition. I was highlighting that it wasn't "Taken out" anywhere is all. Just moved to the left. Still a decent video.
@EpicAirsoftHD thanks alot mate, ive been wondering for a while. It sounds alot like those machines they use to carve 3D shapes into blocks of plaster. This sounds ten times cooler though!
get one of these I agree with everything he said it shoots brilliantly and the recoil is incredible however the weight of this pistol is a real issue for me. I find on skirmishes I have to drag my leg around.
Have any problem running green gas though? The slide on my Glock is rattling all over the place now, still functions sure, but it's annoying. They are also fragile, holster dropped my glock on the concrete and bent the trigger-arm to the point it was jammed enough to warrant a hammer.
I use two of these, As per my picture. :D I use propane for both and no problems so far. It is a little cooler in new zealand so i think it balances out.
True. Have had practically every brand of GBB pistol at this stage, and Marui come out on top every time, and plastic construction doesn't bother me a bit. They're expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. My Umarex USP tactical shoots like shit, and that wasn't a cheap pistol.
I'm considering buying the TM FN 5-7 after hearing stories of it being ridiculously accurate and efficient on gas. However, one thing does concern me, getting my hands on the TM proprietary gas is not easy where i live and thus i would prefer using propane. I've also heard about the 5-7 being able to withstand propane, but does that apply to where i live, where it's 20 degrees centigrade almost all year long? A reply would be much, much appreciated, thanks :)
Anybody know what happened to the review of a gun that's "even bigger than this!"? I can't seem to find it on their subscriber page. Thanks in advance!
hey jai where can i buy your vest i know its eagle industries plate carrier in multicam do you know some cool shops that would sell it or maybe even the replica flyye industires in multicam
This pistol is amazing. I use .36s in mine with propane and can hit a man size target at 200ft. ( i got the kill in a game and went back an measured it afterwords I was so amazed=))
I've been looking for a site that sells this desert eagle yet every single one is either sold out, or spring action and a terrible fps. Help please? Also is there a silver/chrome version of this?
I understand that. I just found it humorous that you'd spend more time editing those two steps out than it actually would have taken to simply leave it in? It wasn't a critique of the video per se. Just an observation that it wasn't actually "Taken out" anywhere, merely stepped to the left.

I bought one and have had no problems with it so far. it is a great pistol and incredibaly cheap. MUST-BUY

What happen Jai Fraser EpicAirsoftHD havent posted anything in a while ?
Nice review Jai - have 2 of these in chrome for ott indoor games and they are a world of fun (and accurate). You forgot to mention how easy it is to adjust the hop btw. Keep the reviews coming!
My KWA P226 PTP is like 95% as good for performance to the TM P226, but so much more fun to use! Looking forward to getting the DE though.
Wolf Armouries definitely does. There are probably loads of second hand ones floating about as well.
It stands for Computer Numerical Controlled. It works on a simple X-Y-Z co-ordinate to machine components (mostly metals) out of solid blocks of material. We'll show everyone on an episode just how capable it is!
The Contour has a rotating lens that can film from any way up.
Id like to see a review on a WE Dragon 7.0 they are massive pistols and a ton of fun to shoot.
204.07. If you look at the link in the description the website should show you in USD, but if not the top right buttons are the euro, pound, and dollar, so you can change them around!
also they have those photo shoot lighting things and if you look at them directly they are blinding, in the video there is at least two in the room
EpicAirsoftHD , I have one of these , and this is the only thing I use in CQB i don't need no tri-shot anymore or so , only bad thing is in my opinion is that the front post is pretty loose , and I've lost it
Great review as always. You guys should review the WE Scar L, i see that a lot in your game vids.
Airsoft World have bought them in bulk. That generally brings the price down a whole lot. Also, the retail price is subjective to the store. I guess they are happy selling it cheap with not a lot of profit! :-)

"We've got crazy heavy stuff on here..." *picks up extremely light gas canister* :P
great review, i definitely want a poke around that workshop:) put a drop of glue on the front sight, its an easy part to los...

1500 hahahha
Lol this Partninja chap makes sense and is pretty much saying word for word what I said on the unboxing vid. Bravo my dear chap, bravo!
It would be nice to see both .25 and .30 groupings in your reviews.
Aye! :-) We've already shot a couple of episodes before it but we'll do it next.

I love my TM Desert Eagle Hard Kick :) I got it because of this review!
That is the cleanest machine shop I have ever seen..........
I'm using a radio pouch for it because it's very uncomfortable to keep it in the drop leg holster
I have the chrome version of this, big ammo, big gun, big noise, big kick, awesome in every way :D
@EpicAirsoftHD thanks alot mate, ive been wondering for a while. It sounds alot like those machines they use to carve 3D shapes into blocks of plaster. This sounds ten times cooler though!
the Tokyo Marui FN FiveSeven gives that maqazine a run for its money, but they are almost the same
Yes, it might move the BB on a molecular level...
it may not be as good of a handgun in the airsoft world but try the full metal CO2 Desert Eagle from KWC.
That was some footage we took from The Fort last Sunday!
Hit thumbs up if you saw Scoutthedoggie at the end!!!!!
This Is A HUGE Pistol. Great Review!
get one of these I agree with everything he said it shoots brilliantly and the recoil is incredible however the weight of this pistol is a real issue for me. I find on skirmishes I have to drag my leg around.
the hop on tm....cant beat it
Have any problem running green gas though? The slide on my Glock is rattling all over the place now, still functions sure, but it's annoying. They are also fragile, holster dropped my glock on the concrete and bent the trigger-arm to the point it was jammed enough to warrant a hammer.
Looking for a new pistol, I'll look into this one if I can find it here in America
Tokyo Marui guns out class aeg sometimes because they have magically enchanted hop-ups
@EpicAirsoftHD Awesome review as always. Can you do a review on the TM Scar L? Thanks
When are you dudes uploading again?
I have the kwc version and shoots very good, but the tm desert allways get broke the lame plastic slide and the safety switch
I use two of these, As per my picture. :D
I use propane for both and no problems so far.
It is a little cooler in new zealand so i think it balances out.
Hey Jai,could you do a review on the TM Scar-L? Thanks.

I have this one with 7.5inch laylax barrel!
could you do a comparison of the TM fiveseven with some chrono readings on various gasses? :)
TM Shotgun or mk23 next please!
Can we get the pdf for the print out targets you guys have?
Now if only WE made one based off the hardkick model but with a VERY heavy construction and no screw ups.
Do you ever find that that fan interferes with your range tests?
Are you guys going to look at the FN 5-7?
getting this for Christmas
Anybody know what happened to the review of a gun that's "even bigger than this!"?
I can't seem to find it on their subscriber page. Thanks in advance!
That pistol probably got a better grouping than my kwa m4.
Next is the intervention sniper system guys.
You mentioned Bongo! WIN!
You should run one game with that pistol as your primary while wearing a headcam! :D
hey jai where can i buy your vest i know its eagle industries plate carrier in multicam do you know some cool shops that would sell it or maybe even the replica flyye industires in multicam
any idea if the 10 inch has a longer internal barrel? and any idea on the performance?
Would you recommend it over getting a rifle at the same price ?
This pistol is amazing. I use .36s in mine with propane and can hit a man size target at 200ft. ( i got the kill in a game and went back an measured it afterwords I was so amazed=))
I've been looking for a site that sells this desert eagle yet every single one is either sold out, or spring action and a terrible fps. Help please? Also is there a silver/chrome version of this?
i love the vids, but still prefer the XDM over a Desert Eagle.
thanks,
Happy larder
god there's product placement in airsoft review videos now, makes me wanna get some mcdonalds and m&m's.
I understand that. I just found it humorous that you'd spend more time editing those two steps out than it actually would have taken to simply leave it in?

KWA Full Metal M9 PTP Please? Full metal, GREEN GAS, 350 fps and only 155$ (dont know in pounds ): )
well, can it shoot m&ms?
Peanut M&Ms, McDonalds coffee and a ferocious Desert Eagle. Could the review get any better? :)

(Two steps to physical left and change of camera angle)
"Ok, we're out on the 30 metre range?"
It's the best kind of tear.
