      If all you're using a digital pencil for is writing it makes no difference. I have an esr digital pencil just for note taking and it's excellent. Saved me spending $219AUD, I spent $33AUD on the ESR Digital Pencil ✏️

    Nice to have a less expensive alternative . I'm sort of tempted to get one as a back-up for my Apple Pencil , but I don't know ... honestly, the USB charging cable for the Penoval A4 is a turn off for me.. If I didn't already have an Apple Pencil and I was financially strapped I would probably get the Penoval A4 and just live with the inconvenience of charging it by a cable , but after having used the Apple Pencil with its' easy charging by simply placing it into the pencil dock on the iPad it would be hard to go backwards.

    • @ennvisionn
      @ennvisionn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s the drawback but its also a fraction of the price. It makes a great backup pencil though.

    What’s the difference between tilt and pressure sensitivity?

    • @ennvisionn
      @ennvisionn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Pressure allows you to create thin/thick lines based on how hard you press. Tilt allows you to shade better by tilting the pencil. It’s a thicker but lighter brush stroke.

    between the time stamps 4:39 and 5:46, are those features going to be only exclusive for the apple pencil? also, when you are in goodnotes and you circle a chunk of writing, are you able to do this with the A4 or is that also only for the apple pencil?

    That pencil tip probably takes like a few cents for Apple to make. If Apple isn't such a greedy piece of faeces, it should have bundled several tips. My $100 Chinese drawing tablet (not smartphone, but like Wacom) came with several replacement tips. $100 for the tablet, the stylus, and replacement tips.

      I’ve tried Jamjake before. They have similar features. I recommend JamJake because of the price, the cheapest one is 21 dollars, it comes with the same features as the Penoval, but way cheaper, and a bit more heavy. I recommend Jamjake. (In my experience.)

    Unfortunately it is not compatible with Ipad Pro 12.9" 1st and 2nd generation. I was only able to find a cheaper alternative to the Apple pencil that works on 1st and 2nd generation Ipad Pro 12.9". It is CiSiRUN Stylus. It cost me about £15 in UK. No pressure sensitivity or palm rejection but I like it. Charging is good. It has an on/off switch and a pilot light that indicates on/off and charging/fully charged when charging from a connector from a USB port. PS My Apple pencil died after 7 years. It will not charge and cannot be fixed.

I´m pretty happy with it, I use it for drawing and it is basically the same as the original minus the pressure sensibility and it just needs an extra step in the app for a thicker or thinner line, it would´ve been nice to have that option but it just doesn´t justify the difference in prices.

    There is a major flaw with all these "Pro" pens. There is no pressure sensor at all, which is a major deal breaker and something that should be said first in all the reviews and also written in the box. So you're basically paying $36 just for a piece of wire with a battery.
