Excellent tutorial, the mini looks great and the video is very entertaining. There's one small thing I'd do different for a more realistic look: when painting the scratches, place the darker line above and the lighter line below, simulating the edge of the scratch that would face towards the light source above. It may not be intuitive at first but it looks much better in my opinion, it creates the illusion of a deep scratch more realistically.
I come to watch the Nuka Kitten intros, the paint tutorial is a nice bonus. Great production value Nuka Kitten. The mini looks great too. Totally grim and dark. And yeah, maybe shouldn't hug space marines....
Am loving this painting style you have, and love the way you explain it with your hand gestures! Makes it really easy for new painters to understand what you're actually doing with the brush tip! :D

Thank goodness Im not "Private J" XD You did great Nuka! Seeing you paint pre-heresy World Eaters makes me think of an idea I had for my "Elite Night Lords." I love Night and Snow terrain, and I had the idea, that my Elite unit should have snow cameo for their armor and Purple Lightning bolts. I use Purple Lightning going over the Right eye on my Elites helmets as a sign that "they are elite," but with the Snow camo variation, the Purple Lightning would be all over their armor. I can see your store now, I want that green and black mug XD
The only thing I'd have done differently was to add orange or a darker yellow to the red to highlight his butt flap. Otherwise, he looks great! Highlighting tiny bits like that grille is the bane of my existence, I feel for you, there. Why no mention of the ax blade painting process?
@@MaskedRiderChris adding orange or yellow to the loincloth or red cloakes remind me of the mechanicum too much in my opinion. I actually changed my mind 3 times on the axe. So technically there's 3 versions I've made. If I added the axe tutorial on the video it would be too long. If you guys want it I'll upload a 5 minute tutorial on it. Just let me know 😁
