We went to Kenya last fall and it was amazing! Not sure we’ll be able to make it back to the continent this year, but next year for sure!
Miami Cuban's want to claim cigar's and the cuban sandwhich. That little spill she gave is historically incorrect. She said that the cigar industry sstarted in Miami which is bogus. It is widely recognized that the commercial industry started in Tampa, years before the City of Miami was even incorporated. By 1912 Tampa was known as the cigar capital of the world. Miami was incorporated in 1896 that's 16 years prior. Tampa was incorporated under special legislation in 1887 but was founded in 1949 and 1955. The legislation dissloved the Village and Town of Tampa. So, the cigar industry in Tampa predates the founding and incorporation of Miami by 9 years at best and 40+ years at worst. The industry existed in Tampa generations before incorporation. So, who had cuban sandwhiches first?
