Thank you Alexis. We have a great group of enthusiastic flyers. Always fun to get together. Don't hear too much about indoor flying down your way but I'm sure there is good activity.
Some information please on the red model flying at the 2 minute mark, what plan was it, and what did it weigh ? I noticed single surface covering of the flight surfaces. More videos of future events John.
Hi, thanks for your comment. The red airplane is mine and is a Sparrow built from old Guillows plans. Yes, single surface covered. It qualifies for the Dime Scale event for Flying Aces competition. It's been a very good, consistant flyer. It weighs in at just over 6 grams w/o rubber motor and has a 16 inch wingspan. Here's a link to my short build video for the model. Thanks for viewing. th-cam.com/video/hqjQnFW-zLE/w-d-xo.html
Oh this is wonderful stuff! I had hoped to get into FF a few years back and just didn’t have the time to devote to it. Still don’t but I enjoy watching them and dreaming of the builds. Stumbled on your channel and immediately subbed! That little beauty in the thumbnail is such a sweet flier! Is there an airfoil in the stab? Great stuff. Sure would enjoy being there to watch all the planes fly. Thanks for sharing! 👍👍👍
Thank you for subscribing! Not sure if the little Saint Formula model has a lifting stab but it certainly is a good flyer. We have several people flying this type of model. Simple and lots of fun! Hope you can find some time to get back into free flight. It's a great hobby.
Not my model but I happen to know this is the P'tit Saint design as published in Aeromodeler 1988. The landing gear location is as shown on the plan. This was this flyer's first attempt at a Saint Formula design. A competition class we are considering for our club. He was aware the wobble in the prop and would be addressing that. I think he did pretty well for his first attempt at this class of model. Here's a link to the plan. outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=3543
Thanks for bringing us these videos . Its incredible how smooth these planes can flt once they are dialed in .
You're welcome. We have a great group of folks with diverse interests in the hobby. Thanks for watching!
Simple y sencillamente los maestros del arte del vuelo indoor de liga, además artífices en la construcción y en los acabados, bravooo.
A wonderful group of model flyers.
Some really interesting builds! Great to see a good sized group still flying.
We're fortunate to have such a talented group. Always lots of fun to get together and fly.
Love Peter's D VI , I'm actually working on designing a plan to build one ... Very cool Peter .
It's a killer peanut. Cleans up often!
Hurricanes and Mustangs flying in serene little circles? You. Indoor guys know something I don't. The all-sheet Pistachio triplane blew my mind.
Ken, we have some very talented folks flying with us at Glastonbury. It's always a pleasure to fly with this group.
Lovely video John, I did not see a Fike or Lacey anywhere and they all flew beautifully, I miss indoor free flight I must do more

Saint formula...? Looks similar to the FAC bostonian class. Indeed, they are great flyers 👍.
Yes indeed.

information. 8:27 this prop seems kinda wobbly. the mass of the main lg should be below the wing leading edge.! this is not an opinion.
