I had my lunch with Tom Herron on the boat coming back from I.O.M TT in 1978 after Mike Hallwood won on the Duke , he was a great guy R.I.P Tom 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I notice in the surname of Joey Dunlop, the emphasis is on the second syllable. When we speak of the tyre manufacturer, it’s on the first.Does anyone know why?
In Northern Ireland it's pronounced the same...
The smoke at the start of the 350cc race.....How I miss the two strokes.
