Brings back some memories. We have a few of the same rigs. I started on the Kenwood 599 twins in 1973. I also had a President Washington base and upgraded to the Madison. I have shoe boxes full of QSL cards and it's fun to look back at them from time to time. Thanks for sharing. 73 de Northern Idaho
Thank you for the nice comments. I have a mint boxed Madison somewhere in the house. Haven't seen it in years. Must get it out as it'll probably need a recap.
Caps and wire wounds are the bane of the older sets as are the older transistors which are ungetable nowadays, nice power supply but I swear by running my sets on car batteries with a permanent charger connected, the battery kills any ac ripple imo. Very nice/tidy shack there Marty unlike mine .
I think i could spend the rest of my days in your radio room...absolutely wonderful....cheers
That's a great comment. Many thanks..
@@Team-fabulous Your welcome.
"When your REALLY into radio this is what happens... one can never have enough. 'Great radio room. 73 from Michigan! 📡

Thanks for the nice comments. Sorry no videos of my antennas. Nothing fancy, a few verticals and a Commett H422 rotary dipole..
Very beautiful setup . Very nice 👍
I have a very low mileage 706MKIIG as well 😎. I’d love to see the antenna farm too!!!
Nothing fancy for antennas.. Thank you the nice comments 👍👍

That Icom HF.. also that Yeasu looks cool 😎
Very nice!
Very nice, how are all the radios getting signals at the same time, do you have a multi coupler inline?
Thank you. Several antennas plugged in but disconnect the receiving ones before I would transmit as it could cause damage..

I can remember back in the day trying to run my CB radio of a train set transformer.. The ripple buzzing was terrible 🤣🤣👍
@@Team-fabulous LOL, the old nearly half wave rec, probably on old selenium plate aka Honda 50, sure we all done it
Nice corner mate, my 2 of my great uncles were killed at lochnagar crater and one other is buried in Belgium in China wall cemetery
Dave I was at the lochnagar crater last August. Going out again in September..
@@Team-fabulous my uncles are buried in Gordon dump. We went to the museum in Albert which I am sure you will have been before

Lovely job, what antenna's you got with them?
Commett H422 and some verticals.. Putting up a long wire soon... Thank you👍👌
I can see them in the Google maps' Street view mode. 🙂
@@AlexejSvirid stop spying on me 😂😂😂😂🛑🛑
Need an amplifier to play with Al 811 or al 80. The first 500watts makes the difference..
And then....the antenna farm it's all connected to is a single wire, out the backyard, with a clothesline under it........
I'm not sure.. But you're probably right 😂😂😂
Once again that realistic scanner is and older scanner it also don't have the 800 mhz in it
I never said it did Matt😲😲👍👍
@@Team-fabulous I know that I was just letting you know that those two scanners don't cover the 800 mhz those are older scanners
@@mattpace5982 ok but 800 mhz doesn't interest me.. I'm an HF man
@@Team-fabulous I'm just making a statement dude that's all
@@mattpace5982 keep her lit.. 🇬🇧😂👍👌🏁
That scanner does not have the 800 mhz because it's an older scanner
That's a lot of gear for a simple qso.
Can't beat the ftdx 10.
It certainly is a great radio.. 👌👌
Super clean shack and nice radios you have there. Congrats Martin. 👍
