Really appreciate you clearly stating you made a loss on this. So many youtubers don't even disclose how much profit or loss they made. I binged pallet videos over the last 24h (quarantine) and was specifically looking for losses to humble my excitement and urge to buy one😂 Hope your next one turns out better x
If there are items missing from the pallet.. surely you can still complain as you still paid for items you didnt receive.. I know it's a pallet & everything but surely its same as buying goods anywhere.. its your right to get what you played for.x
Some people take things back due to haveing same present. But love your videos, and honesty. I got ghd platinum and a month before guarantee run out they stopped working,can't be fixed and won't replace them.
Just to add - I have done John Lewis pallets twice and you can definitely buy them around the £400 mark upwards, even including fees and delivery, though some are a lot more. Compared to yours a) you get more certainty because you definitely know what you're getting and if anything is missing you will be refunded (I was). You just don't know the condition and b) because of this (and the brand) people tend to bid higher. So you're often paying 50% of full retail which given some items are used and broken you're going to be hard pushed to get your money back when selling on ebay or wherever because you need to beat the store's prices even when perfect. So my conclusion- even when you receive a 'good' John Lewis pallet - it's great only if you need a lot of the items for yourself as making a profit is pretty unlikely. Yours seem like higher risk but potentially higher reward. Hope this is useful. Ros

With returns pallets there's no guarantee of list accuracy so there's not much you can do (apart from accept the lost and hope it doesn't happen again!).
Hope the buggy was OK I suppose it's swings and roundabouts when you buy a pallet I suppose they can't always be worth more money than you paid love your videos love fran xxx

Perhaps mentioning the ghds would encourage more people to buy rather than umpteen scooters, although the toys were good not to mention the chocolates.
How did you make a loss? The wireless GHD are £300 each you and the hot bush is £160 you paid £600 that's your money back isn't it? Genuine question I'm genuinely curious how to works?
Mainly because the current reselling values are a lot lower than retail (esp with the cordless GHD with a scratch). It’s just a shame the pallet was missing additional cordless GHD’s as we would have done well with those.

I put on screen that 90% of the electrical products worked (but for those wondering) we had 2 broken scooters and one pair of GHD’s that had a red light when plugged in.

The John Lewis one's start around the £2000 mark (so too much of a risk for us) but I enjoy watching the other TH-camrs unbox them.

We had the same stroller (returned last week) as ours snapped after our 1 year old being in it a week! Please be careful :)

I sell on places such as Facebook marketplace. As for the rose you are welcome to have it (but it is personalised).

Oops!! They all worked apart from one pair which had a red flashing light (which I think means RIP for the GHD) 🤣
My old mark 3 GHDs showed they were fully heated up when the red light started flashing.

@hollyvlogs my ghds have a red light on them it just means they're switched on!
For the GHD platinum the red light is known has the ‘ring of death’ (they won’t heat-up at all) apparently this is a common fault with them.
