Guys great video and sound quality was a premium to the point that I heard water drops and I thought it was my tank here , I thought Carlos lived in Louisiana but Chicago is super cold for a Latin person like him. Great video, hopefully shipping gets better soon and we can all enjoy the normal things we were used to have before.
I have a Mastertronic and love it, the only thing I would highlight is the KH measurements. The minimum reagent you can have in a reagent jar is 8ml to protect the needles. Every KH test the Mastertonic carries out uses 1.6ml of reagent so I only get 7 tests before I have to fill the reagent jar. The other test kits last a lot longer.
Interesting observation. I only have it running once a week to spot check my alkatronic, I didn't realize how little of space you get for that particular reagent.
How many tests do you get out of the reagents? I test twice a week and ive had this for two months thats around 18-19 tests and the KH vial says its empty how can that be on a test kit that should do around 80 tests manually. trying to find out if its an issue on my machine
I noticed that on the alkalinity not as much as well. I just use it once a week to keep my other testers honest 😆. I will check it out once I refill to the top and see how long it lasts.
@@Reefscom gr8, the box has enough reagent for more fills tho but still seems like it uses a decent amount on a few of the tests like KH and MG. Ill keep track of it see how it goes, but parameter wise its brilliant.
Great video, however, pricing is too expensive. Doing manual testing is pain staking but when a tool that helps the process of testing is $1200 not including tax is a much as one month’s rent is hard to justify purchasing the equipment. Manufacturers need to start developing products that are reasonable in price for every one can have the opportunity to get. This hobby is expensive as it is, there is no need to make more expensive.

@@Reefscom Hi, yes it is my only criticism. I spend quite a bit of time away from home and would like to test Kh more than once a week.
@@jules2545 I understand that completely.
@@Reefscom Keep up the great videos :-)
@@jules2545 thank you!
Greate video. Love the mastertronic. Thinking og parring it with a Profilux 4.
PS. We pay arround 9.5 $ for a gallon of gasolin.
Thanks and yikes! That's just too much!! (Gas prices)
I had one for a month now(waited 12 months ) but the wait was worth it awesome bit of kit
Happy to hear that! :)
Cubs Fan, Bud Man, & CoralVue Pro, Chicago Carlos is a good man to know!

I hear you. That's why I did say that it's expensive and not for everyone. But some will find it useful and instrumental.
On mine the nitrate and phosphate is way off
Have you tried baseline calibration?
@@Reefscom tryed everything
Alk is on target but the phosphate and nitrate is way off
Doesn’t make sense
@@theideaofclips5481 reach out to support. They will help you calibrate it.
Thought this was gonna be a dirty video for a second.
from me? Never 😂
