    Was just about to pull the trigger, decided to go alkatronic and Dosetronic for now and manual test other things. Once I’ve seen the longer term results I’ll jump in. So just to be clear the Mastertronic will not auto dose based on results ? Or ?

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Solid choice! Alkatronic is a staple!. You are correct, the MT will not dose. The alkatornic will test/dose alk. The DT will dose up to 5 things based off the results of AT or MT.

  • @stianandreassen3903

      @ReefDudes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IF you want to test alk multiple times per day and constantly tweak dosing get alkatoronic if you want to test once or twice a week get mastertronic. alkatronic is very cheap for alk tests when you buy bulk reagent and more designed for higher volume alk testing

      Its test for alk as well. Alkatronic uses a probe and tritration so its more suited for higher volume testing or if your say using it to control dosing. If your doing ajust a weekly spot check then MT alk test does the job :)

    Wow, we do not have the same hobby. I find joy in growing corals by competence and manual labor. I'm glad you can find that same joy through technology. :) Won't you get bored since all your reef labor is bound into technology rather than the actual tank?
