I wrote Winds of The World in 1996. I was in intercession for 5 young people in my church who were all backslid. My father-in-law opposed my intercession but eventually all 5 of those young people returned to The LORD.

I start l istening to them when i get up every .morning i listen first to the chinese boy and girl sing You Raise me up. But gaither music is my breakfast music its a good way to start my day. I also do the bible devotions. On line. Great day is coming and very soon. Im praying my year gets better. Lost two sisters in law and a niece from cancer a nephew from covid pneumonia and two new cancer diagnosis one being my oldest daughter With esophageal carcinoma, one being breast cancer. Im praying my year improves as it is heart breaking to hear all the sadness but god is in charge and they were all born again and prepared to meet jesus christ. Not sure about one but she seemed to be ready. Im not their judge. Praying for the families they left behind. None left children under 18 so that was a blessing.
Im so proud to recognize them as my "brothers in Christ" and I am sure Father is also to call them HIS. What a family, to be in the Family of Christ and use their talents to bring us all in. My toes just never stop tapping. Love their talent and love the way they use it. Never get tired of hearing the "word" through them. AMEN! Amen! (sobeit)

Nah, Michael's been around a lot longer than David and they sound nothing alike if you ask me. Michael's voice is like a rubber band...you can't even tell he's straining to reach high or low notes. He's not as high as David, but listen to his early stuff and you'll hear how high he used to get. Knocked my socks off ;-)

I have watched a number of Bill Gaither's shows and find it amusing that he uses his tummy as a small 🥁 drum. Why so ? Habit ? Anyhow, he reminds me of my grandfather
