Jesus gave the authority and the keys to the kingdom to Peter and his apostles. The apostles were not being disobedient, how is baptizing in Jesus name saying that they were doing above what Christ commanded. By baptizing in the Name of Jesus Christ, we are identifying that Christ is the head and the one with all authority and the only one that same, it is by his name and through his blood that we are saved from our sins and born again. Why would I not get baptized in the name of the one who hung on the cross and saved me, in that name is all salvation, deliverance, and forgiveness of sin; why would I not baptize in the name. If Jesus is truly the savior, then I will baptize in his name! Jesus is the name that God works through and in. If we acknowledge the son, then we have the father, it’s not the other way around for a reason, and that’s bc many people believe in God, but not in Jesus. But it’s impossible to believe in the son(Jesus) and not believe in the father! Jesus is God all in all!
@@israelbardwell3870 If you want to do like the disciples then go without electricity the rest of your life and walk or sail where you go. Do as Christ said, not as disciples did and leave judgment of their action to Christ. Let Christ decide of the apostles were disobedient or not.
