I've tried Ware, but not really for me either. Jane Harper is my go-to for that genre atm. Bardugo was okay. I really liked her Six of Crows. I haven't really disliked anything from her. I'm currently reading Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy. And on book 2 atm. Enjoying that very much.
Jane Harper is on my list. I did fire up The Ninth House after lunch, and I clicked the return button after 1 hour. Wasn't vibbing with it. I read the 1st Farseer book and it didn't give me enough, but that was awhile ago and should try it again.

I just rented The Dry by Jane Harper from my library app. I'll start listening to it tomorrow
Good Review
Thanks!
