Good stuff fellas. I'm a Dayton area smalljaw junkie. Once you go small, you don't go back! I lost a new PB today near Tait Station Res. today. Had her on the bank stuck in the weeds and broke my line. It kills me to think she's got a hook stuck in her lip, but it happens I guess. Same spot I landed a 4 lber early spring this year.
Your video came across my page so I clicked to give you a chance. Well you just gained a new subscriber. I fish for a lot of smallies here in the mountains of Virginia. Great video. Tight Lines!
Great new creek to fish buddy. That bite was HAPPENING!! Always great to share with your fishing friends. The fish were on fire. Nice smallies and big drum. Man do they fight. Blessings B.
Just got around to watching this video, thank you Creek crawler for putting it up! I live in Columbus and I know where this creek is, but I respect you not disclosing the exact creek, because these little ones can get pounded. Also I have done real well on a venom Hellgi will try the Neko when I get a chance, thanks.
I will not be disclosing much of anything anymore. A general location maybe but that’s about it. I gotta keep the hole buzzards honest. The Nikko hellgie is a different animal all together! We just came out with the new 4.25” ones and they have been good to me in testing. Waiting for the water to warm up a slight bit before throwing them again
Awesome day of multi species fishing. You have a knack for catching those big drum. They definitely are creek dinosaurs. I would have had to take that saugeye home for dinner. Keep the great content coming.
It’s like no matter where I go I am catching big drum! I love them despite the fact they have a stink to them. Musky smell worse and people adore those snot rockets! Thanks for watching
That Drum you landed was awesome! I used to target them when I lived in Euclid, OH, right by Lake Erie. They can really put up a fight. I recently added the Obsidian hellgrammite to my arsenal, along with the Aurora leech and Obsidian leech. Smallies have seemed to moved from the creek. Nothing happening here. Love this presentation of your catches. Awesome work. TLF
I know where you guys were, smart water to fish in. I was in one of my favorite creeks and it was hard to find water it's been so dry. The pools were chock full of fish but they were spooky like I've never seen in the creeks.
Just got this notification as I was getting things together to hit the gmr in Middletown... at least I know I'll have some content to watch when I get back. #LETSGO

What an exceptional trip. The action appeared to be nonstop. My polarized glasses don't seem to be as good as yours. I still have not had near the success with hellgrammites that you and others do.
Appreciate you joining the live last night Steve! I had to cut out slot of action to make this video short ish. The waterland shades have been great for me this year. It can all be relative with the Hellgrammite success.
Hello Steve There is other colours of Nikko hellgrammites to choose from that will increase your success you can increase your hook ups by using a Mushroomhead jig head sorry to but in but this is what I do to increase My fish hook up ratio
Got myself a fish Ohio out of 4mile just last week on basically the same pattern Bitsy Bug jig, 19.5in. Also caught the biggest Bluegill of my life on the same damn jig lol it was every bit of a pound and a half and is the only Bluegill I've thrown back because it was "to big" for catfish bait it was like reeling in a frying pan.
I found your channel after you were on with John and I'm enjoying the content. You definitely caught some really nice fish. How do you keep the Nikko craw up on the hook. Does it have a keeper like the zman hooks? 👊👍
Welcome Samuel!! John is an awesome dude! Those Nikko craws stay on those vmc jigheads pretty tight! It doesn’t have a keeper but the angle is very sharp so the craw stays on and up to the jighead.

I'm a stay at home dad cause my wife there mother has narcolepsy so I have to help her but I do try and do side job and it seems like everytime I get some money saved up to try and get the kiddos some fishing gear something more important pops up. But I told them maybe one day we could try out some of the awesome nikko baits you use one day. And they like your glasses you wear they swear that's how you catch all the fish you do lol. I told them yeah your right them are some of the best fishing glasses man can buy for sure I told them lol. But sir I want you to know we appreciate all you do so we can enjoy your videos and learn from them as well. Till the next's one GodBless and Tight Lines.
