- We are proud to celebrate 50 years of manufacturing Kenworth trucks in Australia and thank all those who have shared the journey with us. This video introduces some of the people who have been a part of this journey in designing and building more than 70,000+ Australian made Kenworth trucks.

Can’t beat them. They are built to last. My first one I owned for 17 years, the one I’ve got now I’ve owned 25 years. It was the first Kenworth made in Australia with the CAT 3408 and it’s still going strong pulling roadtrains from Victoria to WA. I reckon I’ve had a drive of every truck in the market, but KW is the best hands down.
Your big cab over is a ripper too mate, love it!

My Late Father Brian Kilroy was one of the Original Employees at Kenworth Australia. He was there in the CKD Days, The 1st Fully Australian Assembled & the 1000th. I own the Group Picture of the Employees with the 1000th in Colour. That Photo is one of my Most Prized Possessions. My Dad is the Bloke with his Googles still on his Head. He was proud of working for Kenworth on & off for 14 years. he received 2 Ruby Kenworth Service Pins for 2x 5 Years Service. When he was Buried, We put his Pins on his Lapels.
I'm proud to be a Employee at Kenworth Today.
Thank god for trucks. Without Kenworth Australia stops

SAR one of the first 8V92T Detroits in Australia @430hp. They had that in the Atkinson as well. My favorite KWs are the K125, Aerodynes, W model, S2 and SAR.
Got to agree, you folks have plenty to be proud of.
In my experience, KW was by far & away the truck of choice; KW & Cat was a marriage made in heaven.
Long retired now, & I had a few, but the very best that I had was the T904/C16, spiders on 6 rod, pulling triple flat tops Northwest. Truth be told, I loved all of them in their day, the T900 was a cracker too, after Cat sorted their 3406E engine management transition problems.

I love Kenworths, they are built 💪 but could still do with improvements Im my opinion ❤️
I'm a truck driver and the Kenworths I've been in stand up in the rough conditions they oooze pride and I love them!👌 I'll be letting my company know of our industry specific needs. Hoping to get that feedback back to Kenworth through your reps 😁and get them coming off the factory like that so that we aren't lossing time. Because time is money and money is time 🤜
