I respect people like Dan more than any full time pro out there, because he has all of life's other things to deal with like the rest of us while still managing to climb like an absolute beast. Nice production.
Haven't given my TH-cam much attention in quite a while. Been moving back over to it from Vimeo recently. Have been a filmmaking/gfx professional for almost 10 years now 😅
Definitely in the higher echelons of cool bouldering videos!! It feels very pure and almost philosophically futuristic in terms of the what's and whys. Epic film i adore it 👌👌
Epic film! Congrats on the sends and the amazing video! I’m curious, did you do most filming yourself or did you have a buddy with you most of the times?
This is a real climbing video. It's not about a personality or exotic locations or macho competitiveness. It's about climbing: being obsessed by something pointless and abstract to the point where it becomes worth risking everything for. Those who know don't need an explanation. Those who don't can never understand
+3 grades to your climbing instantly 😅 I never think to do this but maybe that's why I've never climbed any harder than 7c/v9. It probably comes when you've projected something long enough to know what works and doesn't with the feet.
One of the best bouldering films out there, dan is an inspiration to all us punters. Wonder if he still climbs...
He's got a youtube channel, so pretty sure he still does climb!

I come back to this when I need some psyche, impressive to acomplish all this alongside a full time job, partner, etc, good reminder it can be done!
Algorithm just recommended this to me. What a great, underrated bouldering video! Congrats on all that crushing 💪
That was awesome, great climbing, great videography and great story telling

What a banger!!!! Nice effort on the filming, editing and climbing 🤙
Thar was (and it is) a great bouldering video. Dan is such a character. The filming is awesome.
Dan keeps going where most climbers would give up. So inspiring 👏
This is such a beautiful film! So inspiring and beautifully shot.
Beautiful film! Inspiring climbing. Bloodsport looked amazing!

Super welll done
Inspiring climber! An absolute machine on the rock and a legend on the UK scene. Really enjoyed this one.
Wow, pretty awesome piece of Art! Thanks for "You made my day"🤩
Lovely little film - really well put together. 🙌🏻
Great stuff
Fantastic stuff. The BBC weather app no longer uses data from the Met Office and is now garbage. The Met Office does its own app, which is very good.
This is a great film!
Absolute masterpiece. Thank you for sharing.
great film mate congras!
Brilliant film.
Loved every second of it!
Amazing video!
Damn. This got me psyched.

Loved it. Too old and fat now but love seeing what the next generation's up to. Living it by proxy. Cheers mate!
Crazy, subs in the hundreds and views in the thousands….talk about withholding, geez. I’m following you mate, awesome video
this was sick
Such a good watch, put together so well! Just wondering, what camera did you use to film this?
Was a mix of cameras, Sony a7s & Black Magic Ursa mini 4.6k mostly.
@@rowans98 Thank you so much for getting back to me. Really want to get into film making, finding it hard to settle on a camera to get started haha
Is this the first low start ascent since the break
Think Dan climbed Voyager low in 2019ish, so potentially not if that's a recent hold breakage.
Will Bosi did the first ascent after the break, its on his TH-cam

Wow Bloodsport looks so good! How tall is Dan? Dan if you are reading.. wich grade do you recon it would be for 1.80m with +0 ape index? 😂
Can't remember 100% but something like 5ft6 roughly
8A+
5’7 or 170cm with 0 ape. Not sure on grade, but it’s very good!
🔥!
Never pairing the shoes, Is this the secret to the higher grades?

Enjoyed the film but the music was not it
really liked the film, but not a massive fan of the music, was a too hollywood drama
Thinking 2hr is long way to drive for good climbing is hilarious to Americans
I know it's not super far, but if you have to drive it 18 times and back for your project then that's 72hrs of driving 🤔
@@rowans98 Haha, trust me I know the struggle. Beautiful film and some beautiful lines, huge congrats
Aliens would eat the nicely muscled athletes first.
