unmaithaan.. atharkaga ilayaraja sir copy eh adikkavillai endru solla mudiyathu.. he has copied few songs from Italian classic tunes and european songs....and that too without any copy rights.. for example...intha poovilum vaasam undu..is pakka copy from Italaian classical song.

I don't think one more composer like Ilayaraja will born in this part of world, I am fortunate live in the era of Ilayaraja and listen to his numerous songs. His songs are so mesmerising and his each song can get one Oscar if the Oscar team understood south Indian languages.

Just to share a tip of the info Director Maniratnam's debut movie Pallavi Anupallavi Raja had his employments of 1/5th of his market price just to encourage a talented new entrant along with the minimal affordability of Ratnam then....
Infact he has done scores for innumerable movies without even getting payments....no need for explaining all these but felt so that these misconceptions on The Maestro need to be Cleared.
It's what he is who knows nothing much apart from music where he's miles ahead and second to none..

Most of the songs composed by meastro was sung by SPB sir. Their combination is phenomenal. I felt, It clearly appears the lack, when others singing his songs in the event .unfortunate that we lost him. If SPB sir is alive, the event would be at sky level and may made this show even more enjoyable and memorable.
