Short: can i fix a Creative A120 2.1 speaker after ESD ? ⚡⚡⚡ [RE-UPLOAD]

A electro static discharge has grilled my Creative A120 2.1 speakers.
I changed both BA8227P with TA8227P ic's.
And i seem's that all is working properly again 😇
Hopefully for longer 😬 They are totally underpowered as a TV "sound-bar" but i am quite happy with it.

when i connect it to my laptop, only 1 speaker has sound, why is that?

Hi. Did you have checked the cables for open lines? Did you tried other speakers to check the connector on Laptop side? Regards

I had same problem . I have removed controller and joined the wire directly without controller. Was using it last 13 years

What is the size of the two small speakers?
