Who can participate? Young people and young adults between the ages of 16 and 26 can do a FSJ or a BFD / people over 27 can only do a BFD.

There is no specific time to apply.. you can apply all year round. Most institutions need volunteers at the start of summer.

If you are in Germany already you could just hoop in. Outside Germany it will depend on the Visa issuing officers.

No subjects. Just High School Certificate + Germany Language Certificate B1.

The German Embassy doesn’t have a bench mark KSCE Grade, but your academic documents matter. If you pass the B1 Germany exam at Goethe institute Nairobi and you have a contract to come for whichever program.They issue you with a visa.

No. You might get a contract to come but the German Embassy Kenya wont grand you a visa. Check the requirements of this programs.

If you meet the requirements, you have to apply to a German Organisation.You can only book an appointment at the Germany Embassy with a volunteering Contract from Germany.
