I have read all of the documentation & created a workflow to comply with ADM protocols. However, it says (on the apple website) that in order to become certified I must "Contact your Apple Music Label Representative to be put in touch with an Apple Digital Masters specialist." I do NOT have a "Label representative" so how would I go about getting the contact information for an "Apple digital masters specialist"?
My example may be more subtle then you were expecting AND this video audio has also been encoded as it’s on TH-cam, but I disagree. There is an audible decrease in quality when the encoders are clipped. You may be able to get away with a few clips here and there, but the further you push it into clipping, the worse it will sound. Yes, trust your ears 100% and limit to taste. But make sure it sounds good after encoding.
@@Josh.Bartel I agree, YT has poorest quality, it's better to upload song -1db or even -2db on ceiling. I've noticed that makes it less artifacts and compressed feeling. Also YT codes into "opus" codec which is changes waveform dramatically, it's feels like DC offset was applied.
man... how the fuck does this add-on work.. i installed it but it doesn't appear in any of my Daws.. only in ''utilities'' and when i double click '' master for iTunes droplet''' it tells me to drag wav files to ''dropet''' but nothing happens!
It's called "Apple Digital Master"

I contacted Apple and they gave me some leads. I have the same question. Currently in the process of emailing and finding out more.
@@AaronTrimbleMusic When I contacted apple, they just forwarded me to a "Logic" specialist.
Lol, and clearly no hearable distortion even when it's "clipped"
Trust your ears, not this bullsh*t..

Thanks 💚👼🏻💙💙
I always mix wave to mp3 high quality and send to my phone because I have been shocked by what TH-cam can do to reverb
I agree on you !!! noticed that
