oooowwweeee!! Now that's a cook'up brother!! My first time to the channel...definitely subscribing. I've only been in the MPC world for about a year, as far trying to be a producer. So, I'm always looking for solid video's like this one, with ideas/tips on building and using the MPC for it all. Thanks for the video!! The track had me wanting to pick up my pen...LOL
Thanks so much for sharing some of your process. I got a lot of tips, like the bass and velocity, the bass over the snare, and keeping the bass simple at first for the artist to be able to catch a cadence easier. Also, starting with piano and getting it to sound good their then it will sound good with other sounds. You seem like a truly experienced professional and I will be checking out more of your videos, this was the first and I’m already excited and motivated to hop on my MPC. I always like learning new things about production especially from a experienced professional. Thanks.
Thank You. Yeah, Controller Mode Definitely Has The Upper Hand When It Comes To Full Production. Standalone Is Great For Putting Ideas Down And Opening Them Later In Controller Mode.
@@SlaneTrakslayer3000 most def, I ended up purchasing studio strings and organ plugin, but I didn’t see the ones you have…could they work on the mpc one?
@SlaneTrakslayer3000 I know, not trying to give shade, but get arcade. Work with it a few weeks, then do another vid. It's gonna change your life and the speed you can conjure up Trax. No shade family, but I been around since 06. Got a lot of placement. I just want you to win. I'm currently making commercial/ movie score music in Thailand. It's OK to use Splice/Arcade, sheet get it done with the quickness. I do!!!!

Fire , just subbed. All the best from the netherlands. I need to figure out how that ducker works
Thank you 🙏. Ducker input on kick. Ducker on bass. Bass gets ducked every time kick hits.
@@SlaneTrakslayer3000 alright , thanks
Hey man you did great
Thank you 🙏.
Thanks 👍
No problem. Glad I could help.
where can i find that 90's base kit at????
It is a preset that comes with the MINI D, plugin from Akai. I’m not sure if the plugin is still on sale but it’s pretty dope.
wish i had caught this live... do you schedule your lives?
Not Yet. Still Getting My Feet Wet...lol. Once I Get The Hang Of Making Great Video Content. I Will. Thanks For Subscribing!

Thank you 🙏.
What’s good tempo ranges for rn b
I like 65bpm-77bpm. But you can do double time 130bpm-144bpm. Those are MY preferred Tempos.
That's HALF TIME Chill Trap not R&B
Oh ok 👍. Never heard of that before. Might have to look that up.
