Almond Joy rods ain’t stiff enough. And to be put in boiling hot water idk .
Perm rod the big ones
Other videos they actually have the hair boiling in a pot. I did that with flexirods- let’s just say I need to buy some new flexirods 😢 use these hard plastic ones or make the foil types and I’ll try boiling for 30mins max

+Lavyhair oh i dont like the ones in the link you left..yea I wanted the exact same ones you used I like it with the slit on top and bottom so I can use my own rubber bands and it makes it easier to curl longer hair... but OK thanks for trying to help anyways

It's the normal cold rods you get from the beauty supply. The difference is when WE buy them they have their own rubber bands and lid. All you'd have to do in this case is to pull off the existing rubber band & you'll have the simple rod. Hope this helps
