Thank you! At 52 I’ve bought my first BMX (having ridden mtbs for years) and went for the Devotion. I was originally looking at cheaper bikes for my first one but your reviews showed me that for my weight I needed full chromoly. You saved me from buying something that would break quickly and end up costing me more in the long run. Anyway, I’m loving the bike and even though it doesn’t excel at any particular style of riding that’s fine by me while I work out what I like doing. Thanks again and you can add me to the list of people that you got into BMX 😊
Glad I could help! You’re going to love Bmx bro. If you’re buying through danscomp, consider clicking the link in my description of the video since it will make me a few dollars and really help out the channel 🙏🙏
Should've released this video yesterday, just ordered this bike as my first BMX last night! Transitioning from mountain biking so wanted a solid bike that I can stick with for a long time. Got the "boring" black to attract less attention. Nonetheless, just recently found your channel and based so much of my research on BMX on your content! Excited to do some park and dirt riding (for a 6'3" guy quite new to BMX, I'm sure it will do just fine). Keep it up man
Just picked one up about two months ago and I absolutely love it!! Got some aftermarket parts and it rides like a dream! Manuals and hops are so consistent and smooth you’re gonna have such a blast!
your a life saver. i dont know the details when it comes to BMX. i been debating between this bike and the sunday EX. ill take your word and go for the devotion. i somehow how was still able to find the prism for retail
I’m going to get this I actually prefer the longer cs I’m a bit old school and been riding since the early 2000s and this complete has a decent sprocket already cranks are on the better side of pinch bolt cranks and being all cromo is a plus for sure. The vans tires probably have to be changed almost immediately out of the box but besides that and cutting down the bars it seems like a solid decision. Thanks DB for the in depth info
The dirt especific part reminded me of when 3 big dogs( 3 months ago) chase me and I went to dirt Hella fast ☠ in my bike fit str they almost bite me thankfully y pedal Hella fast on the dirt but on the curve I almost ..think it was over lol
I have a cult devotion 26" and its ok at best. The integrated seat post clamp is cheap and weak, feels like it will break at any time. The seat is well made but feels like a brick. The handlebars are a bit to wide. The brakes are the weakest of any bike I have ever been on. You can find better brakes on any bike randomly picked at Walmart. There isn't a option to upgrade to conventional bmx brakes because there isn't a mounting point. The frame geometry feels a little weird, I'm 5'8" and the bars set at a comfortable position makes the frame feel stubby but if you move the bars forward the steering feels all wonky. If I had it to do again I would have spent a little more cash and got a better bike. I wouldn't recommend it for a daily rider
Kink owns copycult wit seat clamp .. lol kink mastered that og strong sleek style…. Hahaha can’t wait for my 22 drifter omg best looking n built bike, lmao cult lmao ugly
Yeah for sure the best for us bigger riders !! I would definitely get it. The frame is strong compared to the other cult bikes and it’s a bit bigger !! The devotion is 21 inch compared to the others !
I just bought the devotion black I'm 5'10 220lbs I do plan on making changes, you think you can make a video about how and what parts you can add on to make it a better bike? Just curious
Look for a 20.75" or 21" toptube. Colony Premise: bit.ly/34WOsJg 20.8" TT and weighs 23.6 lbs Sunday Street sweeper: bit.ly/3M6ghhL 20.75" TT and weighs right under 25 Sunday Soundwave: bit.ly/3wLI7Jt 21" TT and weighs 23.48 There are not too many options under 25lbs most get their bikes to that weight with upgrades but the Premise seems like the best options since it's in stock and the quality is good enough for him weighing 190lbs.
I got the new FRKO 29er devotion and I wish I didn't. It didn't come as pictured on their site and came totally scratched up. Total bullshit. I really like cult but this bike sucks.

When I first got this bike, I liked it a lot. I’m starting to really love it more and more each day, though.

Any news on the 2022 WTP frames?

Yeah mate, your same sorta size as me 👍 It’ll be good for ya
Pink and white is Panzas recent frame... i prefer the blue and white personally and the oil slick.

Cult devotion is sick
Hi eddie! Hope you're well. Tell all the boys up there I say hello
Can we get a bike check 😩

I would only get it for the panza frame
I wouldn’t he doesn’t even ride the devotion
Need to go get a too short
That’s a good point
@@Short_Kid2007 that’s why I don’t even under stand why they would use that color way 🤔
So it's better Bike for the bugs than the WHIP?
I think No, because of that Chain stay
