I did and just beeps red at me before I get to finish the new code. 1234456 unlock, 4 unlock, enter new code and it beeps red before I finish entering the new admin code

Im using a dummy knob on both sides. picked one up at walmart as well.

you may need to adjust the deadbolt to where it can smoothly lock and unlock.
