Glad I found this video bud I live just up the street from you. I saw the camera setup and thought you was maybe documenting it. Will keep an eye on the build 👌🏼
M2 has gone now, mate. It’s a cracking car but I didn’t use it enough and when it’s cost £800 to service, £800 to insure and £600 to tax, thought it needed to go after it’s 300 miles since Jan.
Cant wait to see you straightening the leg need to be jiged and pulled if you hire a 10 tone hydraulic ram you might have chance dont right them off for nothing try to heat up leg ass you pull and look at old bumper think off inpact looks like central so it will push legs together panel beater for 20 years loads of jig time hope it goes well easyer with engine out
Cheers, bud! Struggling to find a rental dozer or something similar at the min. The O/S leg is straight and the impact just pulled in the N/S leg like you said. It’s about an inch to the left and the bend is just under the engine mount so doesn’t seem too bad!
We thought we were going to have to do that but a chap on here told us you can buy the connections and pins to replace them. We have about 5 to do but anymore and it would be cheaper to buy the whole harness as they’re about £10 each!

Trying to video it but it’s getting a bit of a pain with the amount of work to video everything 😄
Feel free to stop next time and chat!
