I ordered and sent back. I thought the draw cycle was sick, not in an “awesome” way either. It stacked hard, I got the 50-60# model and had it set to lowest and it just was not smooth. It’s way worse than a Bowtech in Performance disc mode. I am no expert, by no means, but have 3 bows, the same brand X8 Dragon, a Bowtech Solution SS, and a Bear Adapt and all of them are 100% smoother than this was. It drew back, but it was just hard the whole way until back wall. Could not imagine shooting this even if I were way stronger.
I had to reply as I again ordered the Dragon 10, again, as I got a bit stronger, now I love it! Sick fast and worth the getting used to that hump but it does shoot into a bit more smoothness!
@@johnshort4421 At the same time the 340 FPS come from somewhere and this is not a marketing value like we can see sometime. This bow at 50-60 lbs feel like a 60-70 lbs bow, hard impluse at the start, linear all the way tild the back wall, because it is so hard than you slam directly to the valley without feeling the gap between, then your in peace, but with zero tolerance room into the valley, this is on, off like a digital trigger. Lights arrows fly faster at 55lbs than some bows at 65lbs. But this bow is all about harsh, straight and stiff and beat your arms. But precise and fast. This is more in a Lotus Exige than a Porsche GT3 side if we can do this sort of comparaison.
You can get custom strings built, 60X is an awesome place, great string/cable sets for any bow as long as you have the spec measurements, which I know the Sanlida x8 did.
Midwest Archery is an awesome shop!

That ss spoiled ya 😜
I shoot a bowtech as well, that comfort mode and draw cycle on the bowtech is very nice.

Is this dragon 10 should cost includes everything!!
I wonder if the Dragon 10 has an aggressive draw cycle 🤔
Yes, i have one at 60lbs and it feel like 65-70lbs, the draw cycle is linear but agressive, and the valley have no room to play, this is on-off
Is that the bow you will use this deer season
Hi would like to know what setup u using in terms of stabilizer, arrow rest and sight plz
I ended up putting on a octane stabilizer, hha optimizer lite sight and a qad drop away rest
@@feathersandfins thanks will check it soon
Sharp bow for the price. definitely a take on a apa mamba with the handle, nothing like a hoyt. How would you view it as a hunting/3d bow?
I agree! I would definitely say this is a hunting rig for sure
What about aftermarket strings to fit or can you order strings from sanlida?
Not sure on that! I’ll have to do some checking

after about 100 arrows mine developed a nasty nock low arrow flight im still figuring out. but before that it shot amazing and quiet.
Really? Have you got it figured out yet?
@@feathersandfins broken drop away rest
Possible string stretch too I imagine
@@feathersandfins actually it was nock pinch, wisker biskit fixed it but nre drop away was the same, once i retied a new d loop it was good
Midwest archery in Springfield missouri?
Yes! Our favorite bow shop
@feathersandfins I live a hr and a half away but they are worth the drive! By far the best shop around our area!
That color is cool but the ata is to long for me
Define " AGRESSIVE"...
This thing looks like a budget apa bow.
More like Hoyt to me.. APA doesn't use separate limbs. Looks just like a Hoyt to me. Even the cams look like the last gen Hoyt ZT's.
The shape of the riser does remind us of the APA
@@sinepari9160that’s what I was thinking
Looks like an old hoyt from 2010 or 2011.
Damn, Im 8 months late to the game, but thats a hell of a price ju8mp in 8 months... you said $499... now its up to $699!
For bare bow it’s on the website right now for $449! Thanks for watching
@@feathersandfins ah ok... I must have clicked on a package or something
