- Illini come back to take the lead vs Miami behind the strong play of Tracy Abrams and Brandon Paul. Unfortunately the Canes would eventually prevail in a 4 point win to knock Illinois out of the tournament.
Il never forget John Groce. He wasnt the best but he got us to a few tournaments, and we also beat #1 Indiana. He was alright in my history book.
Lol the announcer said Brandon Paul was 7 in 05. That would make him 22 now.
Coming from a Buckeye, Brandon Paul was so much fun to watch. Despite that 40+ point game he had against us of course! Miami got a lucky call in the final minutes of this game as well, terrible call from the officials!

I was at this game, sitting 7 rows up from where it happened. I just happened to be recording the game on my phone when it happened too. It was so clearly off of Miami. It wasn't even close. Even in real time, every single person close to the action knew that it was a bad call.

Be a General at all times...get your players in the offense that is needed.....NO WHEN TO CALL AUDIBLES.....JUST LIKE A QUARTERBACK THE PG..has to know when the players of the opposing team is playing the passing lanes to close or getting contact on players to force a bad placement on the pass because of the offensive player being out of position.......try using him closer on the angle instead of right up the middle.....when egwu comes he needs to set and move....
