Jiwon is a perfect example of a "happy virus", she completely won over the judges and had them eating out of her hand. People are saying all she did was smile but charisma is an important skill in Kpop and she obviously has a lot of it.

Red Diamond Films It’s who Rain is. If you know anything about how hard it was for him to make it as an idol you understand. He use to sleep in the practice room because he couldn’t afford bus fair to go home and back. I feel like he’s a huge over looked inspiration in the Kpop world because he’s not as young.

i feel like its an unwritten obligation that every girl group should perform Into The New World as a right of passage into the industry
if you are unaware of it,pretty much every girl group can perform that song, it usually or was a part of their training
Its a perfect song to train vocals dancing and group dynamics usually its the first song ggs learn
They told that if you cannot sing and you can dance, we consider or if you can sing but cannot dance good then also we consider. But if you are not good at both and have a charm, we consider that as well. She was based on charm. She had that charm and stage presence.

just like they said in the program, talent isn't just to be a good dancer or singer in entertainment industry. jiwon is truly a happy spirit, even before good day debut i fall in love with her bc of her mood. You know, idols aren't there JUST to impress people with their voices or their moves, those who are always happy, polite and has this bright mood can makes you happy too, so I think this is a really important skills. I really like lucky, but I understand their choices, good day is just starting, i hope she can grow up.
i also think it's just important for an idol to be happy just because they are probably really stressed and tired its good to know that she's not down and that she's very mentally healthy

woah biscuties anyway I watched too many survival programs to know that the judges eliminated her just because she is the maknae. they thought that the maknae is still young and have many chances/times to improve in the future unlike other older members.
Chiruno yes I understand this now watching more of the show but it really just made my heart hurt when she looked so obviously broken about it but I'm sure she'll improve and learn more and work harder in the future and this is just one hardship in her life where hopefully she will get better with time maybe this is just what she needs to push her to succeed and become the best she can be :)

it's not all about skill. charisma plays a big part in the idol world. I'm a petal and love heechul but his personality plays a big role in him being my ultimate bias.
You can have the best voice in the world but if you don't have the charisma, you won't succeed. Ji won made me smile at 1am now. She's a darling. She can just smile the whole time, and she'll brighten up the day.

Eh. Ballads don’t seem that great on her voice. Her voice seems either forced to be more of a pop voice or maybe that’s just her natural voice. Listen with headphones and you can hear her voice is just way too airy. If you’re going to have a airy vocal pitch your control and breath control should be unreal. However that’s not the case at all. She sounds like someone who’s covering Ailee with a decent voice at a karaoke room. Not saying she can’t sing but it’s no way to even be Close to a OST “queen”.
She has done OSTs already I think? She was in an all vocal child group with either 2 or 3 other girls and they released an OST together.
Nazari Cooke that’s fine. There’s plenty of people who drop OST’s or have a track featured in an OST. Doesnt mean they’re a OST Queen. Or King. There is a certain voice and this level of talent / vocal pitch, control, and riffs, and overall vocal tone just isn’t there. I’m not saying she’ll never show up in a OST. Calling her the next OST Queen is just inaccurate. She’s no Baek Ji Young who is considered a OST Ballad Queen. She has a full voice, great control, and amazing lyrical sense and overall tone. She’s nothing Close to park Hyo Shin if she wanted a “unique” vocal pitch. And she’s Definitely not even a Shadow for Ailee who is the closest thing to an “upcoming” OST Queen after her amazing job on the Goblin OST.

I think Jiwon just has this charm and charisma to her that leaves an impression in your mind, which is why the mentors gave her 5 boots even though all she did was smile. Her smile is very contagious, you can't help but feel soft and happy when seeing her smile and that's a skill I would say that not everybody has. You have to be born with it so Jiwon is really blessed indeed plus she smiles so naturally during the dance as if the choreo is easy as cake. Smiling is difficult in a choreo guys, I learned it during one of my high school dance performance where I had to a do a traditional Chinese dance which involves a lot of jumping and I was yelled at by my seniors constantly to smile as if I'm the happiest girl in the world and man, all my smile was so forced and fake most of the time due to the fact the dance was really tiring, so it is hard. VERY HARD. So, yeah Jiwon's smile is very impressive talent itself.
