for a tip on the crafting and modding, don't upgrade medicine when it starts to get expensive, as later in the game you'll need around 3 fully upgraded meds to fully heal. instead, upgrade regeneration boosters. slightly more costly, but they will heal you to full incredibly quickly, and additionally will make you very hard to kill for the remaning duration

I think reviewers are hyper focused on things that most players just dont care about to a large degree. If a game is fun keeps you engaged, and has a good amount of content thats all that really matters. Know what kind of gameplay appeals to you, dont use some other persons metric to judge the game, and youll probably have a blast.

Soooooo I have to start you have most of this right but as for not buying weapons and armor no. You should buy them so then the weapons that spawn will be the same lvl as what you have easy way to get better weapons is to carry better if you are having a hard time finding weapons which yeah that's a thing because bandits weapons disappear when they hit the ground so buy weapons and ammo sell off low lvl items and loot. Going in dark zones during the day is really simple and just having a uv flare will help kill virals. Doing side quest at night will net you the most exp and if your smart you can get a lvl 4 chase that can net you 1000 combat and parkour. Just have to fight them. Be smart and don't waist time going to the quarantine buildings till you can make uv flares and flashlight or you will die virals can two shot you in there if your not careful. Good luck survivors I'm 30 hours in
You forgot the biggest tip of all. I know this video is two years old but you never mentioned that you need to take anxiety meds before playing this game lol yeah it’s only a game, but it definitely is one of those remote turning games while you’re playing or the body Contortion game while you’re jumping but most of all anxiety lol great video even though it’s two years old
I'm loving this game and i hope they fix this issue. My wife and i buy games to play together. We have a series x and an xbox one. Once we got to the point where we could play together, we couldnt. I didnt know that cross gen was a thing. Not cross play, cross gen. When did this start happening. I really hope they fix it.
Not 100% on board with getting the windmills right away. I just got through finding Lucas' killer, which unlocks factions. I still need to do my homework on this but it seems the windmills I unlocked previously I cannot set to a certain faction. Now that I sided with PK so I can get the crossbow, every new windmill becomes a PK territory instantly when I thought I was able to choose who gets it. Again, not sure how this works yet, but it seems while you're doing bazaar quests to gain Sophies trust, everything becomes bazaar territory but then when you choose a faction, everything becomes territory of the faction you choose later on. Even tho the game tells you that you can choose which faction will gain that specific territory when you take it over. I've not seen that option yet. Someone else mentioned this. To get a large number of infected trophies, bulk up and hang in front of a large settlement where there's a UV light above the door and throw a grenade or charge at and kill a screamer. Mass infected will come after you. Kill and collect. Almost every upgrade is at least lvl3 right now. These infected also drop valuables to sell so you get your money back too. it only gives you a 2/4 degree "chase". So I haven't seen any volatiles come out at night doing this yet. Videos on how to find inhibitors helps a lot. There is a charm later on that grants weapon durability (That you can reapply over and over) but that's not until after you get the grapple and hang glider. I'd watch a vid before attempting to get this. I've got my weapon grip mods right now at lvl 5 for both durability and damage. I've been putting on the durability one until I get that infinite durability charm, then I'll start applying the damage upgrade instead.
Xbox? Change your location and time to New Zealand. You can play it when it’s midnight there, so if you’re in the US, it’ll be about 18 hours early for you. Not every game is a midnight release, though, so they won’t work, but this one is.

Spoiler alert there’s another way to repair weapon and you have to be in the second part of the map and you have to do the VNC tower mission go to the top of the tower there should be a building With an airdrop use your paraglider to get to the area grab the cord and put it to the areas once you’re down use your GRE access key there may be a bomber sit at all the chairs /areas to sit to get the Korek charm ( by the way it cost one rare trophy to repair your weapon with the korek charm )and you can get another weapon by sitting on the bed and waiting for the Bears To pop up
Great video. Keep going and good hunting!
You won a like and subscribe for the office reference.
Parkour!
I liked this just for the Michael from The Office clip 🤣
After you've unlocked the vnc tower mission there's a charm mod that gives back 500 to weapons
Good to know, thanks.
If your finding some bosses hard to kill you can throw Molotovs at them to stun lock them then you can smack the shit outta them
Great Idea, Molotov's are super helpful
People do not like to be on fire
There's nothing wrong with breathing and slowing down now and then bro 😂
Great tipps - Thanks
That little charm thing in the secret dev room can also repair your weapon. Pretty sure it's end game stuff though
Not quite end game you gotta fo the observatory quest then you can get it
@@juniorelizondo4144 sorry, I hadn't gotten it, but saw it was possible, but didn't want to drive everyone nuts tryna loom for it at the start
@@astroguster5522 yeah after a bit of research I found out it's about halfway through the game I think but yeah tha quest is observatory and it's not that far down the main questline when you get to the second part of the city. It's the korek charm and allows you to repair your weapon indefinitely, there's also a finger gun in that same room (dev room in a tall building near the observatory building)
im very torn between buying this game i keep seeing reveiws say its bad and other saying its good idk what to belive i wish ps5 would give us an 1 hour long trial so i can decide if i wanna pay for it or not
edit: i bought it do not regret it i have not stopped playing for hours i recommend the purchase
buy it i have played it for about 5 hours on pc so far i can say great game especially to play online with your friends definitely a fun exciting game to mess around but also take serious with them
if you liked dying light 1 then buy it! i really enjoy it and you can get the game for 40 bucks at some reseller sites
All I can say is very similar to the last game but you don't have any firearms
I think reviewers are hyper focused on things that most players just dont care about to a large degree. If a game is fun keeps you engaged, and has a good amount of content thats all that really matters. Know what kind of gameplay appeals to you, dont use some other persons metric to judge the game, and youll probably have a blast.
It's great if you like the first one or if you like farcry you love this
These survivors best start talking quick now. I'm usually chaotic good. I have been in every game. I've been blowing through cutscenes thinking I was aight but it's like godzilla just beached while these guys are sitting with their toes in the sand. Im tryna get back to jumping high af and building a castle waaayy up there for my military med kits with a thick af Nightrunner spot on the side. This is my swamp
Amazing video thanks so much!
Don’t eat your UV shrooms.. using them to craft the different tiers of immunity boosters is a much more efficient way to use them.
great tips, video is well done.
Thanks mate!
Definitely a shitty weapon system they choose to go with. Usually you farm weapons to keep it not on here you farm to break it. So they took the best part of most games out of it by having no reason to farm weapons.
There is weapon mod that removes durability
@@slaanesh8587 wait really?
@@joshuaennis1502 well its actualy lowering durability cost im not 100% sure if maxed howmuch % it removes but i have 4 level in it now and its 40% its called reinforcement and i bought it in a shop in quarry end
@@slaanesh8587 it maxed out at 90% but still really good
I can see how it's off putting but I don't think it's shitty. It gives the player incentive to keep exploring for weapons and parts to craft mods. If you can perpetually repair the same weapon, you probably won't explore and try new mods
I love the "magic hands" animation when searching. This game is like a mixture of AAA and indie jank
the dude that upgrades your blueprints repairs weapons.
The high ground part 💀💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂
There's a EE charm you can put on your weapon to repair it. It cost 1 Rare Trophy to use the charm
You lost me at upgrade the lockpick? It's Skyrim lockpicking on easy mode
40h in and I just finished the game, going for my 2nd playthrough soon
What'd you think of the ending? (No Spoilers)
Why bother with a second playthrough when you haven't 100% completed it on the first playthrough ?
What do I do when there are 3-5 volatiles near me everywhere I go, and I get spotted almost instantly
This game is absolutely amazing loving it 😀 😀
KOREK charm you can repair 500durability as many times as you want, top of the vmc tower glide to a nother tower then connect a cable, you need to fight a bomber but you get a fingergun too, search youtube it is full of these videos
Great video, new sub!!! 👍
If you do a regular quest at night, will you get double the combat and parkour experience?
Yes
I can't afford this yet but I'm gathering all of the knowledge I need until I can lmao
I think the mod repair system has been updated. I found an artifact weapon and slapped on 3 mods right away raising the durability to 400 without ever using it. I’m on PS5. 🍻😎
Korek charm gives 500 durability to the weapon its equiped to and you can keep reequiping it(you get it from the teddie bear room in the dev room)
after update now it cost 600 scraps to repair
About to buy it can't wait
Have fun!
it doesn't matter when you mod the weapons the durability is a straight increase so it raises the max if you mod it as soon as you get the weapon.
You can do it Easter egg and developer room to get a korach charm which gives you 500 durability
I am really having a hard time timing my blocks. any tips?
the korek charm is easy to get kind of and restores weapons all the way and can be used a infinite amount of times but the cost is 1 rare trophy
There is a charm that adds 100 durability. You can take it off and put it back on when durability is low
I think it was +500 if you mean the korek charm
You can also use the korek charm to infinitely Repair your wepon just pointing that out
Not 100% on board with getting the windmills right away.
It's the koi charm if anyone hasn't figured it out but there's actually no technical way to stop it
Also on the night time tips unless you go into a dark zone during the day to farm
Great tips. 👍 I like the game so far. Only a couple of hours in.
How are you liking it so far?
7:26 I noticed you called them inhibitor chips? Nice (Intentional?) Reference.
You can repair your weapons infinitely with the Korek charm in the dev room (just watch a video on how to do it)
The following was the best.
Another way to repair weapons is by also using the korek charm.
Tip use the 180 when vaulting over staggered foes
I always forget that button LOL
I can’t wait for this game to release for me
Xbox? Change your location and time to New Zealand. You can play it when it’s midnight there, so if you’re in the US, it’ll be about 18 hours early for you. Not every game is a midnight release, though, so they won’t work, but this one is.
@@heatheninferos2231 I’ll let my friends know, sadly I have a ps4
Have fun!
@@norzza 8 hours left, i sure wil
less than half an hour left for me. cant wait
Some of the weapon charms help with the durability aswell
the korek charm for durability
