I've come to realise that views dont necessary equate to sales, i have a video with over 40k views and barely any sales and a video with less then 5k views that literally funded 3 guitars, a standing desk and a round trip 2 africa and back

at 26-27 seconds yall was talmbout the business being fragile because a video made it diminish. I agree fasho and a lot of these type beat dudes aint got no talent. Music will be around forever. Sellin beats on the internet is a huge bag I'm knowin but being in the studio fr linking up w rappers will always be the best route in my opinion. Meeting other producers, engineers, a&r's n stuff like that is more important in your longevity than selling beats to absolute no name rappers. I make freddie dredd type beats, memphis phonk type beats all that stuff. but i don't want to do the exact same beats all the time so last year i was posting asap rocky type beats when my beats were getting traffic, and it did decent but now i wanna go full on combining all those type beat on my channel and i don't know if it's okay to stay on that one channel coz other producer sustain with that idea but idk

@@spec1133 That's what I would've bet on too but I felt like it could also end up being bad for the system if people start uploading a 100 times the same content till' it blows up on different channels. So, guess I'mma join what HEAT said and be careful with that, only with really bad uploads that may need a new life but not as a casual tool I could use often.

What does sampled beats have to do with sales? 😂 Most of these new producers can't sample if their life depended on it. Shit, most producers are out here using AI to make their whole beat 😂

Facts, I've had a beat get over 100k views and only ever sold 1 mp3 lease, and plenty of other beats that made way more that got less than 1k views
