gg off stage and in person was a much different thing. he was smart and insightful . i really wish that gg had gotten through this period and we had him around now.
I've never seen a video of GG being real, he's always in character. I wonder what he was really like as a person, what his thoughts were on music, and other bands at the time. He had some sort of charisma because he was able to draw crowds, and it wasn't for his musical abilities. He was basically what today's internet famous people are, something people want to watch for whatever entertainment reasons. When people went to a GG show, they wanted to see a shit show, literally a shit show thrown at people, maybe a fight or two. It's too bad he let his addiction take him down like a pussy. I have friends who interacted with GG more than i did. what they have told me is that this sort of interview setting is just about as close as he comes to a resting state. if you asked him questions on music he would talk about some of his idols like Johnny cash etc but mostly would bring it back around to himself.

Just like Merle said, GG got stuck in that life because he had to put due every performance each time. I believe he said the whole suicide thing to be edgy and get people talking. It worked. I also believe he was the way he was because how strict his childhood was. "Imma fucking die before I leave this fucking town"
It’s weird seeing him like this… like someone you can get along with
gg off stage and in person was a much different thing. he was smart and insightful . i really wish that gg had gotten through this period and we had him around now.
Gonzo Rock n Roll. GG slices through bullcrap
gg was rad
I've never seen a video of GG being real, he's always in character. I wonder what he was really like as a person, what his thoughts were on music, and other bands at the time. He had some sort of charisma because he was able to draw crowds, and it wasn't for his musical abilities. He was basically what today's internet famous people are, something people want to watch for whatever entertainment reasons. When people went to a GG show, they wanted to see a shit show, literally a shit show thrown at people, maybe a fight or two. It's too bad he let his addiction take him down like a pussy. But GG was an act that couldn't have lasted much longer than it did. Could you imagine what his shows would be like today?
I have friends who interacted with GG more than i did. what they have told me is that this sort of interview setting is just about as close as he comes to a resting state. if you asked him questions on music he would talk about some of his idols like Johnny cash etc but mostly would bring it back around to himself.
See, I feel conflicted with GG. I feel like he was a much better person than he let ppl believe. No he wasn’t by any means a “good” person. But I feel like he was better than he let most ppl think
@@YOUMAKEMEF33L_____ You're right. No doubt GG was a special individual, and he had a lot of character. He was an artist and I look at his antics as performance art.
This is what happens when you go off your Meds...
I might be way off here but I have been glued to watching anything GG. The honest truth I think is, he didn’t really want to commit suicide. Just like Merle said, GG got stuck in that life because he had to put due every performance each time. I believe he said the whole suicide thing to be edgy and get people talking. It worked. I also believe he was the way he was because how strict his childhood was. He never experienced true freedom so when he was old enough, he went bat shit crazy doing everything he wasn’t able to in his early life.
Imagine GG Allin with turntables
I would think his jaw would be sore from chewing his gum so fast
Cocaine lmao
jake 26 cocaine
I was coked up at a party one time and I was chewing gum like crazy, my jaw hurt like crazy the next day.
I've still got that Public Animal sticker. I wanna throw it on one of my basses, but gonna have to reproduce it....
