    The other option if you dont want to purchase an SSD, is to install Linux. I would recommend sonething like Zorin OS which it less of a learning curve for Windows users. Teams and Skype is available, email is also available using something like thunderbird. You can use Libre office as a replacement for office or use office 365 web interface for light office work.

      Jeśli ma procesor typu i3, i5, i7 to będzie mega różnica, jeśli to Celeron to będzie trochę szybciej ale bez rewelacji :)

      Check if all drivers are installed (Hold windows key on keyboard and than hit X and select device manager)
      Windows update should help.
      If not take out battery, disconnect from power and hold power button for 10 seconds

      I don't remember :D
      Camera most of time is not used and it's hard to test it.
      I did have one computer (I don't remember which one) that have problem with the camera and to fix it You push on the plastic that cover the camera because cable that connect camera did not connect it and pushing there fix it without open of monitor.
      I this this one have that problem

    excellent video!! You will know by chance how to recover the system from the "latitude on" button
    I have the same equipment I did your video I put a ssd with windows 10, but I saw that a person even had windows 10 and at the same time a mini ubuntu web system configured in the bios of the DELL LATITUDE ON button

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never use recover function because it will install all trash. If You have Windows 10 than just use recovery function from windows and install what you want.
      Remember to not connect to Internet during installation because it will force Microsoft account instead normal user account and say no to all that installer will ask :D

    Have the exact same laptop and the HDD is running near constant. Looking at the processes running, I think the AV software is using most of the RAM and using a lot of the CPU. Note the HDD was likely heavily fragmented. One option would be to wipe the drive and custom install Win10. I'm planning to upgrade the RAM to 8 , install win 10 and fit the SSD. Otherwise its soo slow as to be useless. I would note the trackpad on these Dells are tiny. Recommend a wireless Bluetooth mouse as you might go nuts otherwise. I noted the Linux option I might suggest installing Win10 and then doing a dual boot install of Linux for when you want to max out the battery when watching video or just using it as a media player. I was going to try an update to win10 but its not worth the grief so a fresh install on an old HDD is not the best idea if you value your data. Lots of Dell crapware aimed at PC management on it as well. A degrag might help but you might be waiting days for it to finish. Anyone replaced the WIFI card to something faster?

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  ปีที่แล้ว

      SSD is must have is Your CPU wait for HDD.
      Also, most of hard drives have bad sectors after moving laptops and that will get more and more bad sectors.
      Sadly with Wi-Fi bios is locked and block cards to all that buy license that time so all new will not be unlocked sadly :( only USB will work with no problem or express card if laptop have slot.

      The new disk will be empty, and You can't copy a working system to the new disk.
      Sadly You can't use reinstall function to install the system on a new drive, so the only option is to install new system, but I don't think You will be able to use number from old system because most of preinstalled systems are OEM and Microsoft say that's not product that they sell :D

    • @Adrian202

      Some old laptops may have problems on windows 10 because hardware is to old but most of laptops don't have this problem.
      Search for drivers from factory site of that wifi instead of windows update.
      You can also try to uninstall that device in device manager and try to install it again

      Google :P
      All depend on the system and what devices are that.
      I always copy id to google and search what is that.
      I use this application:
      www.tweaking.com/content/page/tweaking_com_hardware_identify.html
      Download portable version, and it will tell You full names of hardware that You search drivers for and then just copy name and write system in end and google it.
      That's how I do it :)

      Intel offer a software update tool on their website. Try that as Intel will often offer some newer patches than Dell do. Dells website is the best place for updates otherwise.

      Any 2.5in SATA SSD will work. Go for a average one as its just a 3GB connection. Better to install more RAM than pay for top performance SSD.

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of laptops with Sata connector for disk support SSD and some will just need bios update.
      I think that most laptops after Core 2 duo processors will have no problem but for laptops with Celeron procesor will not make any change :)
      Dell latitude e6410 have i5 procesor so It will work as it should because instead of 100% of usage hard disk it will use procesor instead :)

      On some devices microsoft drivers work and on some devices not so first try to install drivers from manufacturer of that mousepad.

      If that don't work try to install other drivers like chipset, framework or drivers designed for that laptop.
