- A simple traditional recipe to make Droma Dresi, a sweet ceremonial rice dish eaten on special occasions such as Losar, Tibetan New Year.
Also known as Dresi, generally ingredients are about the same for most Dresi recipes so I have focused more on tips & tricks to help you make the best Dresi.
Recipe Yields 4 servings: Be sure to watch the video with SOUND ON as I share lots of tips throughout my recipe videos.
Basmati Rice| 1 cup (watch video for alternative rice option)
Butter-Salted or Unsalted| 3 tablespoon
Sugar| 1 tablespoon (adjust per preference)
Droma| 3 to 5 tablespoon (adjustable per preference & can be left out if you don't have any)

Golden Raisins| 3 to 5 tablespoons
Dried Cranberries| 3 tablespoons (optional)
Cashew Nuts| Optional
