    I think if we, as audiophiles, are honest, the aesthetics of a cable is a big deal. I can't hear any meaningful differences between cables so I also consider how it looks too. No shame in that.

    What is your opinion on blessing 3 vs seeaudio bravery/bravery ae

    Hi, I was trying to get a 7hz Timeless AE or Tangzu Heyday. And I am confused, Which one should I get? I love balanced Sq, Need proper bass,I got the 41 T and I long for a bit more sparkle in highs, the burn in is not yet completed. I am sensitive to treble usually, just that in 41 t O long for more. So that is just to give u an Idea of my preff. Pl help in deciding, or should I save up and get blessing 3

    How do you compare the level of detail/resolution/soundstage and the bass quantity and quality of the SoundRhyme SR5 vs the Blessing 3 ? Is it really worth double the price (especially in the bass department) ?

    Great honest review about this already famous IEM....
    I also enjoyed your little schematics, but one thing has to be clear : out of your 4 cases, there is only one that is really isobaric, the second from the top. The configuration used by the B3 is not isobaric, it's nothing more than two drivers in phase and wired in parallel. They put a frontal chamber under pressure while facing each other, so it's nothing special. Just convenient for saving room.
    The real Isobaric config, as the name suggests, keeps a constant pressure in the chamber that lies between the two drivers. This was invented in the fifties and made popular by Linn Sondek in the seventies.
    The two advantages that this claims are a slightly reduced distorsion and a half volume load for the same Q factor (Vas is 1/2), so it's smaller for the same bass output. This is an advantage for bookshelf speakers.
    As negative points, we can say that it's the same price that a bigger cabinet with two front drivers. Then the efficiency of the Isobarik cfg is 3 dB less than what can be achieved with the classical approach. As driven in parallel, the resulting impedance is 50%, so this will suck a lot of current....but will not produce more pressure. So, it's a kind of heresy : lots of juice for little dB.
    The last schematic that you show is a push pull. Nothing isobaric here. It behaves like a resulting single driver with the same Sd, but with two engines, so BL is x2, Mmd is x2, Qts is /2 and so and on...and it's finally more rewarding to use directly a single better driver with a lighter membrane and a bigger engine. To add insult to injury, having a low Qts is not a good option when it comes to put this combined driver in a low pass enclosure, simply because drivers with low Qts don't produce a lot of sub bass. So, this set up is not very common.

      Thank you for the explanation. I was aware of what you explained although I wasn't sure how to explain In a easy to understand way as what you just did.
      I'll definitely be asking you to help me out next time I have something I want to explain.
      The only one that I was wondering about is the last one why is it not a iso configuration since the volume is fixed between the drivers and the effective SD is only half of the 2 drivers combined.
      Anyway thank you for your reply and explanation.
      Do you have messenger?

      @@akros9333 I suck at these messenger things....So I was sending you a kind of test PM on FB, maybe it's the messenger you were thinking of ?
      About the last one that I was naming push pull, you are damned right and I was wrong....it can be considered as isobaric of course.
      We learn everyday....

    Up to $600, what IEM would you pick as your everyday all-arounder, if you could only have one? And in case it would change your choice, which would you consider most fun to listen to?

    Due to an issue with my 41T that the seller generously resolved, I am in possession of two 41T cables in 4.4mm and 3.5mm... I am a happy man. I also noticed that it was the exact same wire as the XINHS cable they sell for $49. Honestly worth every penny at that price. The feel of these heavy gauge 2 or 4 stand cables is hard to beat.

    Have you tried to EQ midbass back in? Does that fix the leanness in sound? I use the IFi Zen DAC with a bass boost button on it and I would assume that would "fix" the Blessing 3 for my taste.

    • @akros9333
      @akros9333  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can do that and yes it does fix the lack of Midbass .I just prefer not to EQ although there are cases that it's worth it. This is one!

    Compared to Geek gk100, which one is better in details, treble extension, bass and mids? Is Blessing 3 better?

    • @akros9333
      @akros9333  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a bold statement but GK100 is better.....bass definitely GK... Mids very equal....details and treble extension....they trade blows
      The tonality of the GK although it might seem more colourful, I actually prefer it because it's not as cold as the B3....but this is because there is more bass.
      Anyway they are both very very good.....price is on the GK side ... overall build on the Blessing 3 side.

      The difference in my opinion is huge ...it's not that the Blessing 3 isn't capable os good sound....it is.....the MK2 is just more balanced.....better bass ... Much better bass and this better integration with mids and highs.
