Guys please don't trust this man he is very manipulative. We went to this shop after seeing this video hoping to buy pure sarees but he handed us a fake and machine made saree with the price tag of handloom pure saree. I urge this kind of people not to tarnish Banaras's name.

This happened with us too. We went to Banaras and brought from here he handed us fake machine made sarees. We were not aware of pure but my elders caught it in a jiffy.

I think two things - one is prices should be consistant and it should be clearly mentioned that of 1 peice is available or not , there should be some common place - website etc to buy , another this fellow never mentioned that silk is silk msrked or not, this ensures the buyer for even single peice.
Person looks genuine though, but prices are high only - like that of retail without silk mark - it looks trifky

Nahin...Kataan mulberry silk hai..silk fibers ko boil karne ke baad weave karke thread banaya jata hai..that thread is kataan...Banaras mein kaati hui silk is Banarasi Kataan.
All the sarees shown in this video are probably not the real banarasi sarees. And the person also doesn't sound knowledgeable enough. Handloom real banarasis are not sold this way.
