I just read the headline of your video Germany shocked me. And I got curious and wondered what did we do again? But I was surprised at the content. As a local I would like to say a few words about it. The Sunday rest is really something really great here. A day when nobody wants anything from you. Where you can relax and do something with your family I think that's great. And you get used to the fact that all shops are closed on Sundays. I think the Sunday rest doesn't make us inefficient at work. The other is, it's true we are very cautious about others. But it's also a regional thing. In the south of Germany the people are more open-minded and I would say livelier. I live in Schleswig-Holstein and northern Germans are rather taciturn. I can't say why that's the way it is. It is true that it often takes a long time to make friends with Germans, but if he is your friend then he is loyal. i only have 2 friends, but i know they'll go through the toughest times with me. What good is it to have 100 friends, but when necessary most of them are gone. It's a bit of our mentality to be a lot quieter. Personally, it would get on my nerves to be constantly spoken to on the bus or train. Maybe to put on a good mine even though you don't feel that good. Anyway, I hope you still have a lot of new impressions that enrich you, I found your video very enriching for me. In this sense, all the best from Schleswig-Holstein

You are right with the friendship part, what’s the use of 100 friends when they aren’t loyal 😄. Personally I like how Germans keep to their time and like to mind their business, which I find very cool.

I relate to alot of this while I was IN Denmark😁 Yes, buying the polybag was such a good initiative for me. So I always took my bag for shopping or kept the ones I bought like you mentioned. I even tried to keep up with it upon returning

Because we don't buy the bags here in Ghana, i guess that's why we have lots of plastic waste all around.
Buying it make you value it.🤣

I wasn't shocked by women smoking...it was how cool and okay it was. We literally had smoke breaks in class and it was totally fine for students to ask teachers to step out...and lots of youngsters too. I was shocked!

About the quietness in Buses. If there is a person constantly talking (usually a woman) i count the seconds between the sentences to find out the maximum time she is able to shut up.
Most often this time is around 5 to 7 seconds. After that something has to be said again, and if its just a repetition of what already has been said.
People that cant stfu and make you listen to their oral diarrhea are quite annoying.
